Luna walked into the room with a drag to her step as she tried to remove the lace gloves she was made to wear. Her eyes fell on Beomgyu, who was laying on the couch in deep sleep.
She smiled a little as she gave up on taking off the gloves and walked over to him.
The luncheon seemed more like an endless dinner as she was in there for longer than two hours, which consisted of continuous chatter from the other women in the room, and the only one that seemed to enjoy Luna's presence was Mr. Tran's granddaughter who had asked to chat even more later.
But it was so draining for Luna to even be in the room as all of them seemed to be trying so hard to exclude her somehow, although the young princess always stuck to her side.
Luna sat at the ends of the couch, watching Beomgyu in thought, before sighing a little.
The princess was just like him, but a lot less open about it. She was taking care of her. When they actually got to touch their food, she would wordlessly show her which utensils to use and how to place her napkins. It was endearing.
"Little prince. Won't you move to lay in bed instead?"
"Hm?" He hummed as he kept his eyes closed and Luna giggled quietly.
"Are you going to sleep on the couch?"
Beomgyu opened his tired eyes and eventually they met her own. He stared at her for a couple of seconds, before reaching for her hand.
"Wait, let me get this rabid thing off." She said under her breath as she tried to get the glove out of her hand and Beomgyu stared at her in amusement.
"Rabid?"
"It's stuck to me." She complained and Beomgyu sat up, grabbing her hand in his, before easily pulling on the right spots to remove her glove. "You have experience."
"I've worn gloves before."
"Your hands probably look pretty in them."
"Mhm. Not prettier than yours, though." He whispered as he removed the other glove from her right hand.
"Well, enjoy the view now because you won't get it again." Luna spoke as she grabbed the gloves and threw them to the other side of the room making Beomgyu chuckle quietly.
"You look beautiful, pretty Luna... How was it?" He questioned as he placed his hand at the nape of her exposed neck, placing a gentle kiss on her temple and pulling her towards his chest in a hug. "Tiring I bet?"
Luna laid her head against his shoulder as she looked ahead in thought.
"It wasn't bad." She lied as she closed her eyes.
"What? It was probably terrible."
Luna giggled at his words as she thought of pulling away from him, but opting not to as he ran his hand against her head affectionately.
"Would you go to one again?"
"I'd rather get blown up by a giant war cannon." She said quietly, closing her eyes and Beomgyu let out a laugh at her words.
If only he knew how much she meant them.

Luna opened her eyes in a hurry as she heard a cough from her side, and she turned her head to look at Beomgyu who was leaning his head over the side of the bed.
She quickly sat up to check on him as she looked at the floor to see if he had puked or something. "Are you okay?"
"I thought I was going to vomit." He spoke quietly. "I'm nauseous."
