Luna unlocked the door to the bar as she removed her shoes.A tired Beomgyu followed her inside as he stretched his arms over his head.
There was still bustle on the streets from the people walking home after putting out the fire.
"That was so much fun." He spoke with a smile as he locked the door behind him.
Luna continued walking towards the back and took off her jacket, throwing it on the chair at the dinner table with a sigh. She was quick to remove the over dress corset and dropping it on the table to pick up later, leaving her in her silky blue dress.
She was a little dizzy from the booze she had drank on top of the whiskey, making her walk towards the room and plop down on the bed without responding to Beomgyu.
He followed after her and threw himself on the bed next to her after taking off his jacket, making Luna let out a chuckle at the way the bed bounced her.
She turned her head to look at him, only to see him looking at her.
"How was your first bonfire?"
"Amazing. I want to go to another one." He whispered with a small content smile.
Luna slowly nodded her head as a response and continued to stare at him. "We can go together again."
"Who else could I go with?" He cheekily said as he grabbed her hand, playing with her fingers.
Luna only stared at his movements as he softly kissed her knuckles. She could feel the softness of his lips and his gaze on her through the slight coverage of his long hair over his eyes.
There was a sense of innocence to him that she couldn't quite pinpoint, and it made him so endearing. But at the same time, there was a sense of authority that made her need to respect him, and it wasn't because he was the prince, because his title had long slipped her mind.
"What are you planning to do? We can't hide forever." She whispered softly making him look at her for a few seconds, getting slightly confused at the random switch in topic.
"We?"
"I'm involved, aren't I? It's only a matter of time before people-"
"Let's not think about that now."
Beomgyu stared as she was nonchalantly saying such hurtful things as if they didn't affect her. It made him think that her acting was amazing.
He knew that saying these things was hurtful to her too.
"If I leave, will you miss me?" The question came from out of nowhere, just like the topic had, as Beomgyu leaned his head against his hand to look at her clearer.
Luna didn't know what to answer as she looked into his eyes.
"Will I miss you?"
"I know that if I leave, I'll miss you. I'll miss you, a lot." He whispered as he intertwined their fingers.
Luna didn't know how to showcase her emotions. She didn't how she was supposed to express how she felt, so the only thing she knew how to do was place her hand at the nape of his neck and pull him in for a kiss.
Beomgyu was caught by surprise, but he followed her lead.
As he kissed her back, he wondered if she was only doing this because of the liquor in her system. He was sure she was more sober than him, and she had barely drunk as much as she normally did.
He sure wished that she was doing it all out of her will.
He wanted her to want to kiss him.
They kissed passionately as he carefully straddled her, grabbing her hands over her head as he intertwined their fingers.
