Loving Him

It was the next morning, and I woke up to Hunter beside me, sleeping peacefully. I watched him for a moment as he slept.

"How will I be able to love someone like you?" I questioned myself as I whispered under my breath.

I sighed as I climbed out of bed quietly, not wanting to wake him. I picked up my robe from the floor and put it on my naked body, tying it in place. I walked over to the bathroom as I yawned and turned on the light. My legs were sore from last night, but I embraced the pain. I started to brush my teeth and wash my face as I watched myself in the mirror.

I brushed my hair back up into a ponytail and turned off the light. Hunter was awake by the time I had came back out of the bathroom, he was checking his phone.

"Good morning." I said as I looked at him.

"Good morning, Eden." He said as he looked over at me, maintaining eye contact with me.

I walked back over to the bed with him watching my every move. I climbed back into the bed and pulled my leg over him, climbing on top of him as I did so. He placed his hands on my waist and studied my facial expression.

"Something on your mind?" He questioned me as he eyed me.

"About last night.." I said as I trailed off my words trying to think before I spoke again.

"Which part?" He questioned me as he raised one of his brows. "The part where we fought or the part where we fucked and made up?" He questioned me again.

"The part where I basically confessed my feelings for you." I said as I looked at him, remembering what had took place last night as images flooded my head.

Flashback from last night between Eden and Hunter

"I think I'm developing feelings for you." I said as I searched his eyes as tears continued to flow down my cheeks. "I don't want you to love anyone else, I want you to love me." I said as I looked him.

"I will love you, Eden." He said as he started to wipe my tears away and kiss all over my face, down to my lips.

End of flashback - Present day.

"What about that specific moment?" He questioned me as he ran his hands along the small of my back. "Do you regret saying any of that?" He questioned me again.

"It's not that I regret anything I said because trust me when I say that I don't regret telling you." I said as I sighed, maintaining eye contact with him. "It's just that I've never been in a committed relationship with anyone before and I don't know if I'll be able to give you that Hunter." I said as I looked at him.

He didn't say anything at first, all he did was look at me and I couldn't read his facial expression.

"Say something please, Hunter." I said as I placed my hand on his chest as I looked at him.

"I've never been in a relationship with anyone before either Eden, you know that." He said as he took a pause. "But it won't hurt us to try, we can teach each other how to love each other." He said as he reassured me and probably himself as well.

Would that be enough for me?

"I don't want you to end up hurt if I can't learn to love you." I said as I continued to look at him, maintaining eye contact with him.

"Just don't give up on me and I won't end up hurt." He said as he placed his hand on my cheek, rubbing his thumb against it as he tried to ease my mind.

"I like what we have, but I want more of you." He said as he spoke again. "We can't keep doing this to ourselves because I can feel myself falling in love with you as the time goes on." He said as he confessed to me.

"F-Falling in love with me?" I questioned him as I stumbled over my own words, looking at him with wide eyes.

"I've already moved past the stage of developing feelings, I only want you." He said as he looked at me.

The pressure was on me and I just wanted it gone. Was I finally ready to give in to him?

"I'll be with you, Hunter." I finally said as I looked at him.

He placed a kiss on my lips and held it there for a moment. I closed my eyes, savoring the kiss not wanting this moment to end just yet. He pulled away from me breaking the kiss, causing me to open my eyes.

"You're forever mine and I'm forever yours." He said as he didn't take his eyes off of me.

I was his first kiss, his first sexual partner, and now he was my first love.

Finally, Hunter Nolan was teaching me how to do something for once in his life.

I had trouble coming up with the plot for this chapter. I think I have writer's block now from putting out so many chapters back to back.

I don't want this book to end so soon so I'm going to take time tomorrow to come up with some ideas. If you have any feel free to suggest something in the comments. In the meantime, hope you enjoyed this chapter.
