"HEY, WOULD you guys like to come swim with us?" Lēia spoke towards the Sully children who had just exited their mauri and happened to cross paths with her. "Sure!" Tuk spoke as she followed after the girl.
The group jumped into the water with Roxto and Aonung following. The Sully's were fascinated by the beauty of the ocean, the 4 of them stopping there movement the minute they jumped in, taking in the view.
After a few moments, they continued following after the 4 Metkayina's. Lēia turned around expecting to be met with the Sully's close behind but instead she saw them hurrying up to the surface.
They soon stuck their heads back in, looking at the group. Lēia signed for them to swim with them, but she quickly remembered they didn't understand sign as Lo'ak and Neteyam shrugged at her. Lēia simply beckoned them to follow before she, Aonung, Tsireya and Rotxo continued swimming.
The Sully's took one more deep breath before going back into the water. But it wasn't long until they ran out of breath again and slowed down. The 4 Metkayina's turned around towards them as Lo'ak and Neteyam signalled to go above the water.
"What's wrong with them?" Aonung signed, clearly getting frustrated everytime they stopped. "Those guys are bad at diving." Rotxo signed back to his bestfriend making Lēia roll her eyes. "Stop. There learning." Tsireya signed as Aonung shook his head in dismissal at his sister. Lēia slapped him round the head, before making her way up to the top.
"Are you alright?" Lēia asked the group. "Your to fast, wait for us!" Tuk exclaimed as Rotxo, Tsireya and Aonung rose. "Just breath, breath." Tsireya softly spoke to the little girl.
"You are not good divers, maybe good at swinging through trees but—" Aonung spoke as a laugh escaped him and Rotxo, but it was short lived when Lēia and Tsireya slapped the pair round the head.
"Come on bro, we don't speak this finger talk, we don't know what your saying." Neteyam responded, doing a poor attempt at signing. "Me and Lēia will teach you." Tsireya told the boy, who nodded.
"Where's Kiri?" Rotxo spoke up as they all realised she had not yet came up from the water."I will go look for her, Lēia will you start to teach them how to ride?" Tsireya asked her little sister who nodded.
"Follow me." Lēia spoke, going back under water as she swam to a shallower end. After a few seconds, 3 out of 4 of the Sully kids appeared from the water, standing in the shallow section. Lēia began calling for ilu's as Aonung spoke.
"These are ilu, if you want to live here, you must learn how to ride." He spoke as 3 ilu's surrounded Lēia and Aonung.
Tsireya decided to teach Neteyam how to ride and Lēia couldn't help but feel a little bit of excitement that she would be teaching Lo'ak. Lēia beckonded Lo'ak over as he warily edged closer to the ilu making her chuckle, "Do not worry, he won't bite unless you want him to."
Lo'ak simply nodded his head at the girl before getting onto the ilu. "Make the bond gently, feel his breath, feel his strength." Lēia softly spoke, holding the ilu's antenna towards the boy, he quickly grabbed his braid before slowing his movements as he placed it into the antenna.
"Hold here." Lēia pointed to the saddle handle that was on all of the ilu's. Lo'ak held onto it, taking a deep breath as he commanded the ilu in his head. As he took off, Lēia, Aonung and his little minions all stuck their head into the water in attempt to the outcome of Lo'ak's first ride.
Lēia's eyes widened slightly as the boy went flying off the ilu within only a few seconds. Aonung broke out into laughter as him, his friends and Lēia all pulled their heads out of the water. Lēia couldn't contain hers either as she covered her mouth, in attempt to stop it.
Lo'ak slowly made his way back over to Lēia, embarrassed. All he want to do was impress the girl he had grown to be fond of and instead he made himself look like a fool.
But Lēia didn't think about it like that, she was more proud of him if anything. He was a lot better than she was when she first started learning how to ride.
