Hi everyone,

Unfortunately i will not be joining the DFB on the latest and upcoming international break, the fact that I was selected for such important games like World Cup Qualifiers means the world to me. In the game against Southampton I picked up a severe ankle sprain which was confirmed today a scan I had this morning, it's estimated that I'll be out for six weeks which means that my recovery will be my one and only focus once the international break is over.
I wish the DFB and all my German teammates nothing but luck and success, I'll be rooting for you all from home!
