I was now in my dorm, scrolling through my phone. Though my family didn't use social media or any technology, I was able to get a phone with my own money.

My head whipped up to the door as it opens quite harshly. It was Yoko, standing with a smile on her face. I run up to her, embracing her in a hug. "I missed you!" I wrap my arms around Yoko excited she was back now, though not fully healed. "You don't know how much I missed the gossip nights?"

"I missed you too, and the gossip nights!" Yoko pulled away from the hug, going over to my bed. "Look, I have to get going in a little while, it's nothing important so don't worry" I cocked an eyebrow at the girl, somewhat suspicious.

"You got a date or something?" I chuckle, grabbing a water from my bedside.

"No, come on" Yoko pushes me softly in a playful manner.

"Well, I'll be fine for the night, considering that Xavier canceled on me" Yoko was now rubbing my arm in a comforting manner, a smile on her face. "No, no pity, it wasn't a date so it's not like I'm getting stood up" I laugh, grabbing my book.

"Well, I actually need to get going now so, I'll see you later" I nod, waving to Yoko as she opened the door, though she let out a yelp of surprise. "Oh, Wednesday, what are you doing here?"

"I'm here for Dahlia" Yoko opens the door fully, letting Wednesday in. Yoko bids a last goodbye before actually leaving. Wednesday comes over to my bed, standing in front of me. "I need help with another part of the investigation, I know you said you're busy"

"No, I'm not" Wednesday stared at me with a quizzical expression.

"Did Xavier do something?"

"No, he just needed to reschedule, don't worry." I smile reassuringly, getting up from my bed. "So, what do you need help with?"

"The Edgar Allen Poe statue, it had the same watermark as the picture Rowan gave me."

"And you think that might mean something?"

"Do you know the nightshades?"

"Oh, yeah, mother and father were a part of it when they came here. What about it?"

"The watermark belongs to the Nightshades society so I think the statue may be a way into the library with the book this came from" Wednesday held out the drawing once more.

"Alright, so you want to go investigate the statue?" Wednesday nods, heading over to my door.

"Let's go, we need to find out what this means" Wednesday opened the door waiting for me to join her. I walk behind her, closing the door behind us.

"Let's go," Wednesday says as we stand in front of the Edgar Allen Poe statue we had been at earlier today. I stood lookout as Wednesday stood over the book in the hand of the statue, writing something down every few seconds. She finally comes down, showing her notepad to me.

"Snap twice" I read out, looking at the circled letters on the page. Wednesday does just that and the statue moves back, revealing an entry point.

"Woah" I mumble as I follow Wednesday inside, walking through a hallway before making it to a flight of stairs.

"You sure we should do this?" I ask, looking around, getting anything but a warm welcome from the decorations on the wall. Wednesday simply continues her descent. "Okay then"

We get down from the final step, looking at all of the photos of alumni and the bookshelf containing purple books, the books we were looking for.

"Well then, guess we found the purple book, but which one?" I laugh, looking around at the library. "Oh no way, mom and dad," I say, staring at the photo of my parents back when they were students at Nevermore. They really hadn't changed.

I watch as Wednesday walks towards a particular book, Thing appearing out of her bag holding the very drawing that brought us here. "Is that the book it came from?" I ask, walking beside Wednesday. She nods, finding the page the drawing was taken from.

She places the paper in her hand on the page she suspected it had been ripped out of. It fit like a puzzle. On the other side of the drawing was a figure that looked like some sort of pilgrim.

"What does this even mean? What is some pilgrim doing there?" I ask as she places the book in her bag.

"We'll find that out soon," Wednesday says as we start to walk. Suddenly, I was pulled into a small corner, a black silk bag placed over my head. I couldn't see anything, causing me to panic.

"Wednesday?!"

What the hell was happening?
