𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘳𝘢 𝘵𝘸𝘰

"Are you sure this looks good? I feel like you're lying" I sigh as Wednesday, Yoko, Enid, Divina, and Bianca all sat in front of me on my bed as I was now trying on my third dress.

Tonight was everyones last night here so Xavier and I decided to go out.

"Yes, are you kidding? Trust us you look great" Yoko assured with a smile. The rest of the girls agreed before a knock came on the door.

"Dahlia?" I could hear Xavier's voice, though for some reason he sounded...nervous?

"Okay, I'm gonna go," I say goodbye to the girls and head out with Xavier.

"You look amazing" Xavier smiled, grabbing my hand as we began walking down the street and making our way to a nearby park.

"Thank you, you're not too bad yourself" We both laugh as we continue walking in silence. "Are you okay? You're quiet"

"Yeah, I'm fine. It's just after the night we...you know, it feels different"

"Was it not good?" I ask, stopping in front of him.

"No trust me it was great I just don't want anything to change between us because of that"

"Xavier," I cup his cheeks, giving him a small kiss. "It's not going to change, I mean sure it gets kind of awkward for a little bit after but we're fine. So let's just focus on this date"

"Yeah, you're right"

We continue walking and soon enough we come to a pond, sitting down as we listened to the sounds of the calm water.

"I love this" I sigh, resting against Xavier's chest. Xavier gives me a small kiss on my head as his arms wrapped around me. As we sat relaxing and talking, I felt Xavier's eyes on mine. "What are you staring at?"

Xavier doesn't answer but instead pulls me in for a long, passionate kiss.

"I love you"

"I love you too" Xavier checks his phone, sighing deeply. "We should get back, it's getting late"

"Yeah, I guess"

"Dahlia, it's time to get up" Wednesday shook me suddenly, to which I groan.

"Ugh, let me sleep"

"We have to go say goodbye to everyone" I open my eyes, sighing deeply at the thought of having to say goodbye to Xavier.

Wednesday leaves me to get ready and soon enough we were downstairs saying our goodbyes.

"Make sure to call me, I'll miss you" Yoko wrapped her arms around me tightly as I did the same.

"I'll miss you too and don't worry we'll talk"

After that, Xavier was the only person left.

"I'll leave you two to talk" Wednesday did as she said. Xavier and I stood in silence, not wanting to say goodbye.

Instead of saying anything, I wrap my arms around him in a tight hug. "I'll miss you"

"I'll miss you too but at least we can talk, right?" I nod, giving Xavier a kiss.

"I love you, and call me once you get home okay?"

"I will, don't worry and I love you too" Xavier opened the door as his car pulled up in front of the house. I watch as he gets in, waving goodbye.

I close the door behind me and even though I was feeling sad, I couldn't help but smile softly.

I couldn't wait for next semester.
