I sigh, lying down in my bed, my eyes heavy. Doing this felt as if it became routine, I no longer had anyone to talk to, no one to spend the night with. I was simply alone.

Yoko was sitting on her bed with Enid and Divina, all of them hanging out and talking as we did a few nights before. The only difference was that I was no longer included, Yoko becoming furious with me over the past few days.

It was hard enough having Xavier gone and Wednesday out of my life, but now I had to deal with all of my friends shunning me and not wanting anything to do with me. It was killing me inside.

"Oh shit, we have class," Yoko says, all three of the girls getting up and heading to the door. Yoko stops at the foot of my bed, a small look of annoyance on her face. "Hey, are you going?"

"No" My voice wavered suddenly, a small cry almost escaping my lips.

"Okay," The door shuts, leaving me in solitary. I turn and toss around in my bed, finding no comfortable position.

"Dahlia" Wednesday's muffled voice calls from behind the door. I don't answer, not wanting to deal with her.

"Your door's unlocked, I'm coming in" Wednesday was now standing in front of me, towering over me as she looked down.

"What do you want"

"Xavier isn't the monster"

"Okay, and?" I scoff, turning to face my plain wall.

"Tylers the hyde and I'm going to confront him tonight"

"Hope it works out" I snark, motioning to the door.

"I...I need your help."

"What did I tell you the other night? I don't want anything to do with you or any of your stupid investigation"

"I'm sorry." I turn to Wednesday, stunned at the words coming out of her mouth.

"What did I just hear come out of your mouth" My frustration seemed to wash away, a small smile on my face.

"I said I was sorry, and I'm guessing from the smile on your face that you're intrigued with my offer. So, can I get your help or not?"

"I don't know"

"You would be able to get Xavier out of prison and catch the monster" Wednesday added, watching my expression.

"Okay...fine let's do it"

"Hey, Dahlia could we maybe talk?" Yoko came up to me as we stood in the first waiting for Wednesday's cue. Though I hadn't made up with anyone except Wednesday, I was still here with our entire friend group to help.

"Sure...what about?"

"Uh, I just wanted to say sorry...you know for acting so cold towards you. And for calling you an asshole, that was really shitty of me"

"Ha, it's fine, trust me"

"Really?"

"Of course!" I exclaim, bringing her in for a tight hug.

"Great, but maybe we should be quiet, Tyler will show up any minute" I nod, standing beside her. As if on cue, Tyler's voice comes from behind us.

"Thing gave me your note." He addressed Wednesday who stood with him. "I was surprised you wanted to see me again after you ran out the other night. So, uh, is this a date?"

"It's a surprise" Wednesday continued. "When I came to Nevermore, romance was the last thing on my mind. But when you kissed me, you opened my eyes, and suddenly it all made sense. Xavier warned me about you, but I didn't listen"
