"Ugh, I can't believe that we have to leave" Yoko whined closing her bag.
"Yeah but I mean without a principal how is this place going to run" I laugh, grabbing my bags from my desk. "But we'll be back soon and we can go back to our nightly gossip"
"Definitely"
"So, you spending some time with Divina?" I smirk, nudging Yoko slightly.
"Maybe, what about you, you spending time with Xavier?"
"Mmm, maybe I mean with my family who knows what'll happen if he came to visit"
"Yeah, but we should go. I think everyone is already downstairs" I nod, opening the door and heading downstairs with Yoko close behind.
"Dahlia!" Enid rushes over, pulling me into a tight hug. I laugh softly, hugging back. "I'm going to miss you!"
"Jeez, why's everyone acting like this is a graduation, we'll be back next semester trust me" I smile, pulling away.
"You should totally come to visit, and maybe even force Wednesday to come"
"Oh, are you kidding? Of course, I will" Enid says a quick goodbye, leaving off to the rest of the friend group. I look around, my eyes falling on Wednesday.
"Hey Hermanita, you look joyful" I laugh, looking at her dull expression. "You should be though, we put away a monster!"
"I guess" I laugh, wrapping my arms around her. Suddenly, a voice calls my name, catching my attention. I look up to where it came from to see Xavier with a wide smile.
"Hey, come on" I grab Wednesday's hand, dragging her up to the stairs.
"Hey," Xavier pulls me into a deep kiss, his arms wrapped around my waist.
"Do I need to be here for this?" Wednesday coughed, catching our attention. "I hear you're a free man now."
"Yup. All charges dismissed." Xavier smiles, his arm still wrapped around my side. "Listen. When I was in the cell I said a lot of... things. Being your friend should come with a warning label. But... I don't know a lot of people who would take an arrow for me. So,"
Xavier pauses, grabbing a black box and handing it to Wednesday with a small chuckle. "Welcome to the 21st century, Addams."
I laugh, watching her open it to a phone. "Wow, look at you are you finally going to become a slave to technology?"
"My numbers in there already"
"Bold move" I laugh at Wednesday's words. "I hope you're not expecting me to call"
"No, never" Xavier shakes his head with a smile.
"I'd settle for a text, though. You know what a text is, right?"
"Goodbye, Xavier." Wednesday starts her way down the stairs. "I'll be waiting outside Dahlia"
"Hey, are you going to be back next semester? Yes? No? Maybe?"
"Great answer right?" I laugh, giving him a quick kiss. "So a phone for Wednesday, what about me?"
"Oh, here" Xavier hands me a small bag, with a nervous smile.
"I was just joking about a gift but this is definitely better" I laugh, opening the bag to find a small jewelry box. I gasp at the beautiful necklace inside, probably worth a few hundred dollars. "Holy shit, thank you so much!"
I laugh, hugging Xavier tightly as I rested my head on his chest.
"Yeah, I thought that would suit you perfectly"
"Oh, it definitely will" I laugh, beginning to put it on, though clearly struggling. "Could you maybe help me?" Xavier nods as I turn around lifting my hair up slightly.
Shivers go down my spine as a light kiss is placed against the back of my neck.
"Wow, definitely getting bold"
"Hey, am I gonna be able to visit you?"
"Maybe, gotta check with my parents but hopefully you could spend a few days and I mean my house is really fucking big my hallway is empty so we would have it all to ourselves" I smirk, my fingers tracing down his jaw.
"That sounds fucking amazing"
"I know right? Look, I gotta get going but hopefully, I'll get to see you" I give Xavier one last kiss before saying goodbye, heading outside to Wednesday.
"Sorry, it took me forever" I sigh, fixing my skirt as I sat down.
"I see you got a gift too" Wednesday gestured to my necklace with a smirk.
"Yeah, what do you think?" I chuckle, showing off the necklace.
"It looks...good"
"Wow, you gave a compliment!" I laugh jokingly, resting my head on her shoulder. I jerk suddenly at a loud ping coming from Wednesday's phone. "Jesus, we need to adjust the ringtone"
I watch as Wednesday opens a notification, laughing slightly at her confusion though my eyes quickly widen. "What the hell?"
I look at Wednesday in shock before turning back to the screen. Chills rise through my body as I came face to face with pictures of Wednesday along with the words I'm watching you.
Wednesday doesn't say anything but instead places her phone back down with a small smile. "Well, my first stalker"
Though still in shock, I laugh softly.
"Looks like next semester's going to be fun"
