"Young love tends to be based on nothing but feelings. The couple has not yet faced and overcome a challenge or difficulty together. They are passionate about each other. They think about each other constantly and want to spend all their time"

Three months had gone by.
Three full moons Angie had to prepare for — and she'd mastered them quickly thanks to Derek and Scott.
Either way, they all knew she wasn't going to struggle with having control. She had an advantage none of them did. She had her magic to anchor her, and that's what she did from the start. It's what helped her get everything under control. Now, all that was left was being taught how to fight — which Derek was handling.
Ava wanted to leave. Every instinct in her body screamed to take Angie far away, to get out before it was too late. But it was too late. And now, she knew the best person to help her — the only one she trusted to help her — was Derek.
The summer had been weird.
It was like Angie's entire world had shifted on its axis, and no matter how hard she tried to ground herself, it never fully righted itself. She was getting along better with her mom, something that had always been a tug-of-war between them, and her relationship with Derek... well, it was complicated.
She was still weirded out about the whole concept of Derek being her dad. She didn't know what to make of it — but at least it wasn't hostile anymore. They were getting there.
Derek didn't think Angie hated him anymore.
Scott and her had gotten really close. He was helping with everything, and Stiles just came with the package deal. Though, naturally, they still argued at least once a day — it was practically tradition by now.
Lydia was in the loop now. Angie had explained everything to her — every secret, every piece of it — and it had taken Lydia days to even begin to process it.
But now, she was part of the group. And Ava... Ava was digging. She wanted answers, because after everything that had happened with Peter and Jackson, who'd been forced to move away, Lydia was different. There was something about her. And Ava was determined to find out what.
It was like the world was spinning back on its axis... Except it wasn't.
Isaac and Angie hadn't spoken much since the night everything happened. Angie had decided she needed a break, but she didn't know how long that break was going to last.
Some part of Isaac feared she'd figure out how to live without him — and that terrified him. Because he wouldn't. He couldn't. Isaac loved Angie too much to move on. And watching her seem fine without him hurt in ways he wasn't ready to admit to anyone.
Allison had left for the summer — her grandfather's funeral. She'd cut herself off, and not just from Angie. From everything. She wanted nothing to do with her. And no one blamed her for it.
