"She's the strongest soldier we got, Kate, and she's almost on the same level of intelligence as Ghost," Shepherd said, referring to the young girl at the shooting range by herself. Laswell was upset, "John won't like the fact that you're putting a teenager into his task force. He'll be pissed." She said, also watching the young girl. "Figure it out, go talk to her," Shepherd said before walking off, leaving Kate to face the girl by herself.
She approached her slowly, eventually meeting eyes with her. "Pardon me, rookie," Laswell said, the girl didn't look away from her sniper. "Cunningham? That's your name right?" Laswell asked. "What of it?" The girl replied, shooting once more and almost getting a perfect shot. Laswell stood next to the girl and handed a piece of paper to her.
The girl took the paper and looked at it, reading that it was her profile, except the bottom was a recruitment paper for the 141 task force. "Bloody hell, I'm too young, aren't I?" Charlie questioned, Laswell nodded, "yes, but the government is making a special case for you. We need someone like you to help one of my friends. Captain John Price with the 141 task force."
At the bottom of the paper, the girl could see it was signed off by Shepherd, who had been nothing but kind towards her to gain her trust. The young girl nodded and handed the paper back to Laswell. "So be it." She said, before firing another shot at the target. Laswell outstretched her hand towards the girl, "I'm Kate Laswell, Station Chief, and CIA."
The girl looked away from her sniper to shake Laswell's hand, the girl's grip was firm and a bit confident, "Charlotte Cunningham, but everyone calls me Charlie.

Charlie woke up and looked around the plane, only to see everyone avoiding eye contact with her. She yawned and stop slouching but bumped into the man next to her.
"My apologies sir-" she began, but cut herself off when she looked up and saw nonother than Ghost. The Ghost. Simon Riley. Charlie's eyes widened as she quickly looked forward, avoiding eye contact with him.
She hastily put her helmet gear on as the helicopter landed. Ghost stood up and stood in front of the group, "Bravo team offloads here, Aloha team stays on board to lend down range. We'll have both teams meet in the middle. Remember, this is capture or kill, we want Hassan alive.". Charlie began to realize this was war. She was in an actual fight and believe it or not she was ready for it.
As Bravo team stood up Charlie looked over at Ghost, who was walking off the plane, she felt someone elbow her lightly. Charlie turned around and saw Sargent MacTavish, who smiled kindly at her, "stay close, this is your first fight." He smiled before leaving.
Her brown hair was tied back and secured by her helmet. Watching the explosions and gunfire made her nervous, but she pushed forward. She felt as though she had to prove herself. Prove herself to Ghost, Laswell, and Price.
As Charlie and her group moved forward she made sure to stay close to Soap, who also made sure she was close to him. "Take it easy, kid, we'll be just fine on this mission." He said, sticking close to Charlie. "We've got one mission, find Hassan." Soap said, Charlie nodded, "copy that, Sargent."
"We gotta have a code name for ya, kid." Soap said, she just nodded and kept quiet. The group went from house to house, breaching and killing anyone of danger to them. Between shootouts and clearing out houses, Charlie was shown to be able to handle herself just fine. She was able to kill without hesitation and Ghost noticed this, he took note of it.
Once reaching the roof of a building Charlie moved forward, taking out an enemy rocket. She soon walked into a room where she was greeted by a woman taking a gun off of her dead partner, which Charlie aimed and shot before the woman got the chance to.
Her grip on her weapon began to get shaky after she killed her. "Fucking Christ..." she muttered as she kept moving forward, "Ghost, we're secure, no sight of Hassan." She said softly. "Roger that, time to hit the crash sight." Ghost said over the Comms. Charlie looked around the broken-down room and her eyes landed on a video of Hassan playing on a laptop.
She stared at the laptop video, that was her target, and damn it she was going to take him down. She met with Soap towards the crash sight, where Ghost and the rest of the Bravo squad were. "Soap and Cunningham, we're moving in towards the crash sight." Ghost said, the young girl inhaled sharply before moving in towards the crashed helicopter. "Cover us." She said to the others as the three of them moved into the crashed plane.
The sight of a wounded man was her first view of the situation. "We've got 5 KIA and one wounded! It's just me and my gun and I'm low on ammo." An Alpha team member said, Charlie looked at the injured man, she studied his wounds carefully, "hey, kid, help me move him." He said. Charlie looked at Ghost and Soap before Ghost spoke, "no time, they're moving in. Cunningham keep low and protect the injured, make sure not to get hit." Ghost said. "Yes, sir," Charlie replied, beginning to try and help the wounded man.
Shots rang out. Charlie kept low and followed her Lieutenant's orders, she quickly began to realize there were a lot more men than she thought there would be. As soap and Ghost cleared them all out she loaded her gun. "Don't even think about it, kid!" Soap yelled, Charlie stood up and didn't listen, she aimed her gun and shot at a man who was close to shooting Soap. "I've got you covered, Sargent, focus on incoming." She said. Soap stood there in shock but nodded, taking shots at approaching people while Charlie handled closer people, people who she could easily shoot with her smaller gun.
"They're getting close." Ghost spoke, Charlie picked up some ammo and reloaded, before shooting some more at people. Eventually taking enough out to go back and treat the wounded. Soon enough the fighting stopped, Ghost looked over at Soap, "you good, Soap?" He asked, "I'm good." Soap replied. "What about your, Cunningham?" Soap asked, "I'm better than ever, Sargent." She said, checking the pulse on the man. "Shit," She mumbled, "he must've gotten hit, he's gone." She finished speaking.
"ghost, we should fall back to the house." Soap offered, but Ghost shook his head, "negative, we clear this position and push. If. Hassan's still here, he's out ahead." Ghost said, just as he finished speaking the sound of vehicles pushing forward rang through the air. Ghost looked back at Charlie, "Cunningham we need you, aim at incoming vehicles." He said, Charlie quickly got up and took a gun Ghost handed to her, before aiming and firing at the vehicles.
The vehicles began to get hit by an air strike, and Soap turned his head towards Ghost, "are we clear?" He asked, "Fuckin hope so." Ghost responded. Charlie looked to the side and nodded a bit, "all clear." She said, "get ready, kid, Hassan is still the target." Ghost said, "time to push forward." Charlie said, leaving the plane with the men as they continued their search for Hassan.
"Let's go get this fucker." Soap said, looking over at Charlie with a smile. The girl simply nodded and stayed close to Soap. "Alpha, you're with us." Ghost commanded, "Roger Lieutenant." The Alpha squad member copied. Charlie began to feel her leg hurt from all the movement, but she kept pushing forward and making sure she could keep up with the men.
