Several months earlier....

The sound of Charlie hitting the punching bag echoed throughout the empty room, the room was a private one. It was simply handed to her by Laswell to help her train. She had always done it by herself, she felt like if she did it by herself she would learn quicker.

The sound of the squeaking doors opening startled Charlie as she turned around, the figure in the doorway was someone she didn't notice.

The only people who knew about her training place was Laswell and Shepherd, so this unfamiliar face made her panic. She ran over to the table to grab a pistol from off the wooden table.

"Woah! woah! Easy there, kid!" The British accent said, Charlie froze and looked over at the man. "My name is Sargent Kyle Garrick, I was sent by Laswell," the man who was now known as Kyle said, "you can call me Gaz if you'd like."

Charlie didn't say a word, she just stood there frozen with a gun in her hands, she placed it back down slowly as Gaz stood where he was, "you're Charlotte Cunningham, right?" He asked, Charlie nodded a bit.

"It's Charlie, don't call me Charlotte," she said to him, her eyes felt like daggers as she stared wearily at Gaz. "Got it, Charlie," he smiled, he put his hands in the air to show he had no weapons and walked closer to her, causing her to back up.

"It's alright, I have authorization from Laswell to help you out," Gaz told him, he put his cap down onto the table and held his hand out for the girl to shake. Charlie looked at his hand before slowly reaching out and shaking it.

Gaz smiled and put his hands in his pockets, "show me what you got," he smiled. "With what?" Charlie asked. Gaz pulled out a combat knife and pointed at a dummy in the corner, "get close in person and show me how you would get someone with a knife," he stated.

Charlie began to walk over. She wrapped her arm around the dummy's neck before stabbing it in the neck. She looked back at Gaz for feedback but he shook his head a bit.

Gaz walked over and took the knife of the dummy's neck. He then grabbed the dummy by the back of the head and stabbed it in the chest, directly in the heart. He used his knee and slammed the dummy down onto it, driving the blade deeper into its chest.

"Jesus Christ," she muttered. Gaz pulled the knife out and handed it to her, "try again, but use more of your body to get the kill instead of your hands." He said. The girl grabbed the knife and did exactly that.

He quickly began to learn that Charlie was a quick learner, a lot of the skills he taught her were things she figured out how to do insanely quick. He was beginning to properly train her for missions, dangerous missions.

A few Months Later....

The doors to the training area opened, Gaz wiped sweat off his brow from the heat of the summer, only to find Charlie in the corner with a fan directed at her.

"Come on, kiddo, get up," he said. Charlie looked over and shook her head, "I can't do it, Gaz," she groaned, she was exhausted from training and the heat that the summer brought.

Gaz stood there for a minute like an impatient mother only to get an idea, "you ever fly a helicopter before?" Gaz smiled a bit. Charlie's head perked up as her eyes widened.

Gaz took her down to the landing area and introduced Charlie to a few pilots, who gave her some odd looks.

"This makes it go up, this makes it go down, and this makes it land." Gaz said, pointing to some controls. Charlie was amazed that she was sitting in the pilots seat of a helicopter.

"Gaz, can I fly this thing now?" She asked. Gaz smiled, "if you think you won't crash it," he said. Charlie put on a helmet and turned it on, she began to hear the sounds of the blades thundering above her made her smile.

Gaz spoke into the radio so she could hear him, "try making it go up," he said, and Charlie had it go up, she began to laugh with excitement and looked at the sights around her. Gaz helped her move the helicopter around and had to save her a few times from almost crashing it.

"This is fucking awesome!" She shouted, Gaz smiled and enjoyed the view with her, apart of him did it in order to let her live out her life incase the worst happened to her while on a mission. He wanted to give her a good view on the unfortunate situation she was in.

He eventually had her land the helicopter. There was some issues landing it but she did it. As she took off her helmet and shut the helicopter off she laughed with excitement. She reached over and hugged Gaz tightly.

Gaz froze but hugged her, he smiled and messed her hair up before hopping out of the helicopter and helping her out.

"How about we go get ourselves something to eat? I'm starving," he smiled. "Can I invite Laswell?" Charlie asked. Gaz laughed and smiled, "hell yeah!"

Present Day...

"How you holding up there, kid?" Gaz asked over the computer. Charlie simply nodded her head and looked at the table in front of her, she felt like a failure for not being able to keep Hassan.

The sound of the group behind her sound asleep in the barracks room made Gaz smile. "Who's snoring?" He asked. "Grace Keller, she's some girl who showed up," Charlie said. Gaz's face dropped when he heard her name.

"Grace is there?" He questioned, Charlie nodded a bit, "yeah, do you know here?" She asked, raising an eyebrow slightly. "I do, we met a few years ago...her brother was inside a building when it exploded," Gaz replied, he cleared his throat before continuing, "I can still remember when she watched General Barkov's factory go up in flames...she tried to save her brother but it was too late," Gaz said.

Charlie turned around to look at the sleeping girl in a bunk bed behind her. Grace's glasses were off and on the floor next to the bed.

"She's nice, plus she always knows what she's doing," Charlie looked back at the camera, "besides, I think Ghost and her are friends." Gaz smiled and nodded, "yeah, I've heard stories about him from her since they started working together."

Charlie heard the sound of the door opening to the barracks, Ghost stood in the doorway and looked at Charlie, "turn that computer off and get to bed, you've got to be up early," Ghost said in a cold tone of voice.

"Okay, Lieutenant," she smiled politely at Ghost as he closed the door to the women's barracks. Charlie looked back at Gaz through the computer, "I'm gonna go to bed, big day of planning tomorrow," Charlie smiled as Gaz nodded, "be safe out there, kiddo, don't let those guys get into your head." Gaz said.

Charlie waved and shut the computer, she walked out of the room and into a main area to put the computer back into Ghost's bag, she walked back into the ladies barracks and saw Grace sitting up.
