32 Tunnels and Trucks

"Four Ghosts in the tunnel," Alejandro said. "Copy- our codes still work." Rodolfo replied as Grace added in, "I'm in position outside of the gate, they don't suspect a thing. I just need Gaz to turn on his camera so I can see what you boys are seeing." "Affirmative, Keller. Rodolfo, what's your status?" Alejandro asked as Gaz turned the small body camera he had on.

Grace's computer screen soon was showing what Gaz was looking at. "One klick from the gate with Soap, Ghost, and Charlie." Rodolfo replied as Alejandro stoped walking, "copy. Hold tight. Out." Alejandro stated as he looked over at Price and Gaz.

"Good work, Alejandro. Gaz, take his six and let's move," Price said as Gaz followed Alejandro. "Grace, are you in a safe spot?" Gaz asks as he whispers into his radio, keeping in contact with her. "I'm looking sg the map through my computer right now, I'll alert you of any Shadows ahead." Grace stated as she typed in her computer. Gaz smiled a bit and nodded, "can always count on you, Keller," he stated.

"Weapons hot, hermanos," Alejandro said as the group crawled on their knees through pipes under the tunnel. "Alejandro, stop," Grace stated, "traps up ahead." "Alerts- likely connected to charges," Price stated. "Pinche güero, Graves..." Alejandro growled as he tossed a smoke bomb ahead of them.

Smoke was released as they looked ahead. "Fuckin hell," Gaz muttered as Price sighed, "it's a fucking Gauntlet," he stated as Gaz walked over and disabled the lasers they could have blocked their way. "Keller, how's Charlie?" Gaz asked as himself and the others continued forward. "Girls got guts, she's tough...Ghost and Soap as in the van with her and are arriving soon." Grace stated as Gaz smiled a bit. "You gettin' a little too close with Ghost, yeah?" Gaz poked fun as Grace rolled her eyes.
"That's not the kind of information I should give away," Grace stated as she tracked both Alejandro's group and Ghost's group.
"Surely you can spare one detail or two?" Gaz joked as Grace chuckled.

Gaz released another smoke bomb as he had to sneak his way through the lasers, trying not to get caught. Gaz pushed the disarm button as Alejandro and Price followed. "More lasers up ahead, boys," Grace said as Alejandro followed Gaz.
"My men use these tunnels. We practice escape and evasion down here," Alejandro stated as he began to speak to his Vaqueros.

Gaz was quick to disarm this one as Price and Alejandro pushed forward. "You're all set, boys," Grace said as Price nodded, "thank you, Keller, now push forward," Price thanked her as he instructed Gaz to go towards a turn.

Grace's voice could be heard as a whisper as she stopped the men, "hold...you're not alone," she whispered into her radio as Price looked back at Gaz and Alejandro. "Shadows." He stated. "How many?" Gaz asked as Price responded. "Three," Price stated as he looked back at Alejandro and Gaz once more, "the the guy on the right," he whispered.

Gaz snuck up behind one Shadow as he pulled out his knife, quickly he tripped the man and stabbed a knife through his skull while Price shot the second Shadow. "Good shooting," Alejandro said as they pushed forward.
"It's a bloody maze down here," Gaz sighed as he held his gun up, prepared to shoot at any moment. "Well it's a good thing you have me... this way," Alejandro motioned as Price and Gaz followed him towards a door with a code.

"Graves set up traps- but he didn't change the codes," Alejandro grinned as Price shrugged. "He never expected to see us," Grace said over the radio as Price chuckled. "He thinks your dead, Keller," Price stated as Grace smiled. "What's in here?" Gaz asks as Alejandro leads them inside, "Takes up up to the ground level," he states.

"Stay sharp for more charges," Price says as Gaz nods to him. As Gaz walks forward a few feet Grace tells him to stop, "stop, charges up ahead," she said as Gaz freezes. The smoke bomb was thrown as Gaz crawled underneath the charges.

Out of the corner came a Shadow, Gaz quickly shot him down and continued to sneak underneath the charges. "Got it, let's go," Gaz states as he disarms the final set of charges. "Follow me.. ahead and to the right." Alejandro motioned as both Price and Gaz followed him.

"Hold your fire, we're at the center of the base. We'll secure a helicopter and get you airborn, Captain," Alejandro stated as Price nodded. "Gaz, you're with me," Alejandro added as Gaz followed him up the ladder and through a hatch. "Good luck out there, boys." Grace says over the radio once final time before tuning out.

Alejandro drops two Shadows as he looks at Price. "Bravo-6, Bird all yours," Alejandro stated as he motioned towards the helicopter. Gaz makes his way over towards a door with a code on it and bends over a bit in order to add in a code. "Alejandro, what's the code?" He asks. "6-2-7... let's hope it still works," Alejandro sighed as Gaz enters the code. "Aces. We're in," he says as Alejandro nods. "Orale, on me." Alejandro says as he entered the building, "All Ghosts. One is inside," Alejndro said over comms. Gaz looks back at the helicopter Price was in as he closed the door slowly, taking one last look at Price. "Get him, sir." He whispered to himself as he shut the door fully.

Charlie sat beside Ghost as she tapped her foot against the floor of the van. Her mask smelt of cigar smoke and was tightly fitted to her head. Ghost watched as she constantly adjusted her mask to try and make it more comfortable, he smiled a bit under his own mask as he was amused by her attempts. "You nervous?" He asked as she nodded a bit. "You survived Las Almas...you'll survive this," Ghost said as Charlie nodded her head. "Soap, Charlie stays with me, make sure she doesn't run off," Ghost asked of Soap before receiving a nod from Soap.

As Soap and Rudy are distracted by the window, Ghost leans over to Charlie and speaks, "I'll kill anyone who lays their hands on you...." He says as Charlie smiles. "Lt." Soap interrupts as Ghost looks at him. "How does it feel to have a kid?" Soap says as he chuckled at his own joke. Ghost froze and death glared Soap.

"All Ghosts- I'm wheels up with eyes on," Price's voice broke through their radios. Ghost quickly answered, "copy that. Two is inbound towards the gate. You're cleared how target is marked," Ghost replies as they approach the gate to the base.
