"On the move," Charlie said into her radio. Herself, Soap, and Rodolfo loaded their guns and exit the camera room, making their way towards the cell block entry. "Ghost, what's your status?" Charlie asked as she followed Soap and Rudy towards the entrance. "Comin' your way, kid," Ghost responded, he waited for a response as Charlie was quick to respond to him. "Copy, we're on the move, sir," she said while jogging to the area.
The three avoided a helicopter spotting them as Ghost eventually met with them. "Cell block entry's ahead. Shadows blocking the way," Rudy said, while running over Charlie looked at Soap. "Soap....can we really trust no one?" she asked. Soap nodded, "only trust myself, Ghost, Rudy, Alejandro, and yourself... trusting people outside of our group might get us killed or yourself killed." Charlie nodded after Soap stopped speaking and stayed close, the thoughts of Gaz came back to her as she remembered her friend.
Could she truly not trust him? What would happen if she was to see him again? If he attacked her would she have to kill him? The thought of hurting the only person who truly cared for her until meeting the other 141 and Los Vaqueros terrified her. She watched as some Shadows blocked the entry way and suddenly those thoughts disappeared after remembering the horrors of what the Shadows did to the Las Almas people.
"Let's send 'em to hell and get inside," Soap said with a grin. Charlie approached, aiming a bullet at one Shadow's head and shooting while Soap killed the second guard. "Bullseye," Charlie grinned as the group pushed forward. Soap grabbed onto the door handle and shook his head. "It's locked," he said with annoyance in his voice.
"We'll need to breach it," Rudy states. "No, Rudy....knock," Ghost corrects him. Rodolfo pauses for a second in confusion but nods a bit and looks at the group, "on me," he sighs as he knocks on the door to the cell block.
A Shadow opened the door and was instantly grabbed by Charlie, who began to strangle him using the rope she had in one of her pockets. The man eventually stopped moving and died as Charlie got up, taking her rope back and returning it to her pocket. "Badass," Soap smiled as the group made their way inside. Almost immediately they were met with gunfire.
Charlie hid behind a counter as she opened fire on the Shadows. "Enemies on second deck!" Rodolfo shouted as Charlie groaned in annoyance, "more comin' down the stairs! Fuckin' Christ!" She shouted, shooting down any person she could see. Charlie grabbed a grenade and pulled the pin with her teeth before throwing the small explosive towards the enemies, blowing the first floor enemies up almost instantly.
She aimed her gun to the second deck and shot her gun up towards the men on second deck. She was focused, and once they were finished she looked over at the men and nodded her head, signaling to move up to the second deck.
"Coming up behind you, Sargent," Charlie said to Soap as he led them all towards the second deck. "Alejandro's down the hall! Keep moving!" Rudy said as Charlie reloaded her gun, preparing for a fight. After finding the guarding Shadows and killing them she found Alejandro's cell. "There it is, I'll cover you, Soap," Rudy said to Soap as they all walked up to the cell.
Ghost pulled out a pair of chain cutters and looked at Soap, "Johnny, when I pop this lock, you push in," Ghost said as Soap nodded his head. "This is what we came for, lads," Charlie stated as Ghost popped the lock. Soap pushed his way inside.
"Alejandro!" He shouted as he entered but was cut off by Alejandro grabbing him and throwing him against a wall. Soap struggled as he shouted, "it's me, hermano!" Alejandro raised his fist, not recognizing Soap but quickly stopping as Rodolfo grabbed Alejandro's wrist, "Colonel, relax its us!" Rudy shouted.
"Soap!? Rudy! Charlie and Ghost!" Alejandro smiled as he recognized his friends. "Didn't think we'd leave ya to die did you?" Charlie smiled as Alejandro shook hands with Soap, "what took you so long, pendejo?" Alejandro grinned. "Place is crawling with Shadows. There'll be hell ahead," Ghost said Alejandro was given a gun, "let's fight fire with fire," he grinned.
"There's more Vaqueros in the cells upstairs..." Rudy said, "then it's time to get them out," Soap said as he nodded to the others. Alejandro nodded, "Orale, on you Rodolfo." As they left the cell Alejandro wrapped one arm around Charlie to greet her with a hug, "you're one hell of a kid," he smiled as Charlie nodded, "you owe us big time," she joked. Alejandro let out a hardy laugh as the group moved forward. "Have to seen Graves here?" Soap asked. "No, but I plan to pay the cabrón a special visit," Alejandro stated. "Me too," Soap sighed.
The group pushed forward until turning a corner, only to be greeted by Shadows wielding shields. "Oh fuck!" Charlie shouted in shock. "Throw whatever we've got at them!" Ghost shot at the men while Soap pulls out a Molotov, hitting the men and causing them to catch on fire. Charlie put them out of their misery by shooting them all. Alejandro and Rodolfo ran over to the cell doors as Charlie opened the cell doors using a button from behind a command post.
Charlie watched as a handful of Vaqueros ran out from their cells and were given guns. "Charlie! You're with us!" Alejandro shouts as Charlie rushes over, the group eventually makes their way into the mess hall.
"This was the mess hall," Alejandro loads his gun while entering the cafeteria. "Let's make a mess," Soap grins at his own joke as the group drops down into the giant room.
