Charlie hopped out of the car, her gear on and ready to fight. "Where are they holding Hassan?" Soap asked. "White two-story building, back of town," Alejandro replied. Charlie ran forward towards the gate, anxiously waiting to get it open so she can find Hassan. Ghost noticed and looked at her, "easy, rookie, don't get too excited," he said. Charlie froze and nodded, "yes, Lieutenant, sorry," she replied, clearing her throat. "Eyes on the prize," Ghost reminded her. Charlie was a death trap, a killing machine, and Ghost knew this. Despite how morally wrong he thought it to have a teenager working along side him he stood by Shepards judgement of her.
As soon as Charlie heard the go from Alejandro she was in, staying behind Ghost as she looked around. "Civilians?" Soap asked, Alejandro replied with a quiet, "gone." Charlie followed the group, in between Ghost and Soap as she held her gun tightly, prepared to aim and fire at any second. "Cartel took over, it's a hide out now," Alejandro said, "such a shame," Charlie whispered, Alejandro heard and glanced back at the girl, even he himself was shocked that she was only a teenager and working along side these men.
Men began to pour out of buildings, Soap took them out rather quickly but with the help of Charlie, who's aim was perfect as usual. She stood behind Soap as his shot at men and she assisted along with the others, "GET DOWN, KID!" Ghost shouted, grabbing Charlie and yanking her off behind a building and shooting a guy, the girl grunted as she collided against Ghost's upper arm, he quickly let her go and let her continue to help Soap and Alejandro with their fight.
Eventually making their way to a home, Soap broke the door down and began shooting people inside, Charlie followed in soon after. "Room clear!" Charlie announced, "good job, kid," Alejandro replied, the girl and Soap continued forward, "no sign of Hassan!" Soap announced to Alejandro. Alejandro moved forward with Ghost, Charlie waited alongside Soap while the other two came in. "What happened the the families here?" Soap asked, "the cartel brings violence, so they leave," Alejandro replies, Charlie looks out the window sneakily, waiting for something to happen, maybe for someone to screw up and reveal themselves, as Soap is about to open the door Alejandro stops him, "stand by," he says, gripping the door knob.
Charlie crouched next to Alejandro while he spoke into his radio, "where's your family, Alejandro?" Soap asks. "I keep that a secret, Hermano, to protect them," Alejandro replies, looking at Soap. "We have concealment," Ghost interrupts. "Let's move in," Charlie says, standing up. "On me, Soap."
Alejandro mutters before standing up and rushing out. Charlie followed Soap into the White House, Charlie closed her eyes and took a deep breath, she was ready to get Hassan. Once they barged into the house she looked around she began shooting men, she didn't hold back and it was noticed by Alejandro very fast.
"Second deck," Alejandro said, Charlie and Soap very quickly followed him up the stairs. Gunshots rang out as Charlie took her gun and began shooting, hitting anything that moved, eventually helping to gun down any men in her way. "Atta, gal!" Soap smiled, following Charlie into the room as she began to look around. "Clear, no Hassan!" Charlie shouted, angry. "Damnit!" She exclaimed, slamming her fist against the wall.
"They must've moved him," Alejandro said. "when?" Soap asked. "Recently..." Charlie replied, wiping someone's blood off her face.
Ghost came in, scaring Charlie, she jumped a bit hearing his voice, "Quids force, that's his flag," he said, Charlie looked over at the giant man and nodded. "So he was here," Alejandro reassured.
Their conversation was interrupted by the sounds of vehicles and Rodolfo speaking Spanish over the radio. "What is it?" Ghost asked, "it's the army," Alejandro replied. Charlie got near a window and began to see vehicles pull up in front of the house.
Charlie loaded her gun, she began to get nervous, now she wasn't just dealing with Hassan's men, she was now dealing with the army. "What's the chances of us getting out of here alive?" She asked, "likely if we hide behind these walls, kid," Ghost says, grabbing her and hiding her behind the wall. "Let me fight, Ghost!" Charlie protested, Ghost simply shook his head, "not a chance, you're not skilled enough for this shit," he said, keeping Charlie safe.
As soon as gunshots rang through the air Ghost and Soap began shooting, eventually the glass broke, leading Ghost to look back at Charlie, "get behind the couch! Hide next to that body!" He shouted, Charlie rushed behind the couch, taking cover yet keeping her fingers on the trigger of her gun.
She peaked out from above the couch and took a shot, shooting a soldier from that great a distance, earning a look from Ghost, "get back behind the couch," he said, Charlie did as she was told, she began to feel herself panic a bit, there was no way these men were getting out of this alive. There couldn't be any way...right?
Charlie looked up and saw their escape opportunity. "An escape!" She shouted, "fall back! This way!" She ran over to a back window and broke it open, leading her to get some glass in her arm. She winced in pain but kept pushing forward. Ghost, Soap, and Alejandro followed her out and they all ran towards the forest behind them.
"Army's right behind us!" She shouted, Ghost grabbed her and pushed her behind him, "will you quit grabbing me, sir!" She shouted again. The army was hot on their trail as they ran into the forest. She turned around and began shooting people who came close to them. She hid behind a rock and continued to shoot.
She watched the men around her get shot down, but that only fueled her anger more, she began shooting more violently, she shot and killed anyone who she deemed to be harder to kill. She challenged herself.
"Are we clear?" Soap asked, Charlie lowered her weapon and got up, "for now, we gotta move, let's go!" Alejandro shouted. Charlie follows the group, "you know these trails, sir?" She asked Alejandro, only for him to nod, "very well, but so does the army, Niña," Alejandro replies.
While running Ghost dove to get behind a tree, "COVER!" he shouted, Charlie got behind another rock and began shooting at the army, her finger began getting tired from all the shooting. This time she took oh the men easier, she began to relax her body as she did this much quicker. She finished the men off only to be grabbed once again by Ghost, "let's go!" He shouts, Charlie followed the man as he made sure she was close behind him.
Another fight with the army later and Alejandro shouts up to them, "we'll have to jump here!" He shouts, Charlie's eyes widen at the gap. "Can we make that?!" Soap asks, a bit scared. Charlie didn't think, she jumped, and when she did she didn't regret it, she fell over but quickly picked herself up.
"It's a dead end!" Charlie announced, "where to next, Alejandro?" Soap asked, Soap eventually found a way, they all jumped to another platform one by one while Soap ran ahead to find places to go. "I hear a Heli!" Charlie shouts as they get to an opening.
"Get into firing position, we should take them by surprise," Alejandro said, another fight came, once again having Alejandro's party as the victorious group. At this point Charlie began to slow down from the running, "if you don't hurry we're leaving you here, kid!" Soap shouted as they made their way towards the rocks. Soap jumped onto a ledge, he looked over at a hesitant Charlie.
"Come on, kid, I got ya," he said while the others went ahead. Charlie looked down at the terrifying height and began to panic, she looked at Soap and jumped, the man grabbed into her and held her close until she stopped shaking from that sudden adrenalin rush.
"Let's keep going, Charlie," Soap smiled, helping Charlie slowly make their way across the ledge. As they moved across a sniper shot and killed a man in front of them. "Sniper! Move!" Ghost shouted, Soap quickened the pace and Charlie followed, the two jumped onto a ledge to regroup with the others.
"Sniper down!" Alejandro shouted, "bloody good shot, mate," Ghost replied. The group climbed a ledge, Soap helped Charlie up first and she helped him up. As people continued to shoot at them they ran into a dead end, "you lead us into a dead end, mate!" Charlie yelled.
Alejandro didn't think twice, "we jump from here!" He shouted, before jumping down and into the water below. Soap followed but Charlie didn't, she froze and looked down at the horrifying drop.
"Ghost, I can't do this!" She yelled out. Ghost looked at her and picked her up before running and jumping off the cliff. Charlie screamed but Ghost kept her face against his shoulder, eventually the two hitting the water.
Charlie kicked away from Ghost and swam up to the surface, coughing and gasping for air. "You hood, Hermanos?" Alejandro called out to the three. Ghost came up from the water to confirm, "affirmed," he muttered. Soap swam over and helped Charlie relax, "calm down, kid! You're fine! We're all fine!" He said, "use the rocks for cover! Follow me!" Alejandro shouted as they made their way down the river.
