Addy's POV

The only thing I could do was stare at my lost love. We had woken up and Kiki decided to get ready for the day. Her back was to me as she stretched. I watched her muscles tense and found myself distracted with her spine tattoo. I looked away to control my sexual urges. Granted, we were up all night having sex.

"Gorgeous?" I lifted my eyes to see her smiling down at me. "You're so beautiful." She leaned forward and pressed her lips to mine. "How are you?" She whispered.

"Still in shock."

"Still?" She laughed. "I'm just glad to be reunited with you." She held out her hand for me to take. "Any plans for the day?" She walked me to our bathroom while I shook my head. "Cool because I was thinking of somethings." She deviously glanced my way.

"What things?" I mumbled.

"I'd like to see my family. Tell them I'm alive, you know." She laughed.

"That would be great!" I nodded.

"But, not in the conventional way." I titled my head in confusion. "You're going to be my accomplice. But, first..." She led me inside the bathroom. "I need my daily dose of Adelene's pussy." My jaw dropped as she closed the door.

I walked along the castle's walls. The demonic guards lowered their heads as I passed. I gulped and nodded back at them. I continued walking until I entered the apothecary. I gulped and spotted Gello mixing herbs and other minerals together. Her back faced me as she grinded flower petals together. I opened my mouth to speak, but she beat me.

"Gadreel has reported that Blake is mentally absent in his therapy sessions. He'll journey to the human realm once a week to receive an update on your son's condition." I forgot I wasn't facing her, so I simply nodded. Not hearing a reply, Gello faced me. "Something wrong, Queen?"

"I..." I couldn't formulate any words while staring at the woman I repeatedly hurt. "I'm so sorry, Gello."

"What are you apologizing for? That was so long ago." She darkly chuckled and continued mashing the herbs.

"Do you miss her?" My question stopped her movements.

"Of course, I miss her. She was essentially my daughter." Gello gave me a bittersweet smile. "She did vex the shit out of me." We chuckled at her words. "I'm serious. She never gave me a break. Always something I had to do for that one." Gello smiled to herself. "I'd call her incompetent heir." She smiled at me. "But, she was far from incompetent. I loved teasing her and she knew it was done in jest."

"She loves you."

"Loved." Gello corrected.

"No, loves." I smiled at her. "What else about her?"

"Stealing my spells. Robbing me of my potions. Prolonging this torturous, endless life." I chuckled at her words. "She was a charming dimwit." Gello snorted.

"A dimwit?" Gello stiffened as Kiki walked behind her.

I couldn't help but smile at her shocked eyes. Gello didn't turn, only continued staring at me in bewilderment. Kiki walked in front of Gello to grab the finished potion on the table. She sniffed it before deciding that the scent was awful. Kiki placed it down before walking around the room, all while Gello watched her. I smiled at the stupefied Gello.

"Well, I've been called a lot worse... especially, by you." Kiki faced her. "Dimwit seems rather tamed for you. Thought I'd elicit a stronger reaction." Kiki chuckled. "But, alas... a mere dimwit is all I amount to. Hear that, Addy?" She cocked a grin at me.
