Ken's POV

I really saw no purpose in attending a medical examination since Yugi had done a great job. But, it was hard to refuse when Lily snuck out the light realm to visit me. Apparently, Yugi tasked her with taking me to a doctor to do a regular check up. Ugh! She also gave me pills that Yugi prescribed me to take. Prenatal stuff or something like that.

"Where are you going?" Haze entered.

"Doctors." Lily smiled.

"I'm tagging along."

"Oh, no you're not." I stated.

"I will make sure the doctor doesn't harm you or the baby."

"And how are you going to determine that?" I crossed my arms.

"I am very observant." I felt uneasy at her words.

"Can Hailey come too? I need a buffer." I eyed Haze wearily.

Lily giggled and went to retrieve Hailey. The two came back laughing and joking around. Yep, I missed Lily and it seems I'm not the only one. While we were walking to the doctor's office, I decided to ask her a few questions.

"How were you able to come here?"

"Jaxi is performing a flyby on the opposite side of realm. He'll be gone for a few days, so I have some time to sneak away. If he could, Yugi would be here. He just can't leave the realm because the top healer has to always be available."

"And Nyx didn't catch your aura?"

"I'm hoping she doesn't." Lily bit her lip. "If she does, I'll just say I was visiting you."

"I caught your aura a day ago." Haze smirked while Lily awkwardly whistled. "You were doing something else other than seeing Ken. What's your side mission? Hmm?"

"Okay, fine." Lily sighed. "I was seeing Addy." She nervously watched me. "We were catching up and I didn't realize the time flew by so fast."

"Wow! Is that a betrayal, Ken?" Haze inquired.

"No, it's not." I breathed out. "I have my issues with her, but I can't dictate who's friends with who."

"Plus, they were close." Hailey gently smiled. "Like how you are with her." She gave Haze a look.

"I admit that I'd be all over her if Ken wasn't pregnant."

"And here I thought all angels were holding a grudge against her." I snorted.

"I think it's time to forgive and move on. She's clearly a changed person and going through a lot of guilt and self-hatred. No need to pile onto that." Haze shrugged.

"I agree."

"Time to move on then?" Hailey asked.

"I said I agree, not that I'm ready." I walked ahead of her.

"That makes no sense." Haze stated.

"I don't care and how are you guys not afraid of her? Like it's been time to the point that I can forgive her, but I'm still scared. Did you not see what she did when she came to our realm? We were no match for her."

"I think it's easier to move past because she didn't trash our realm like Lilitu did," Hailey spoke. "Also, we know her and the reason behind the attacks. It's easier to humanize her."

"I don't know. It's just hard to fight the memories I made with her and how she made me feel." Lily muttered. "And when I saw her, those emotions came flooding back to me."
