Zena's POV

(Before Yeira came back from the East Asian realm and tricked them into a therapy sesh)

Hailey was helping me with flower arrangements for Acacia. And by helping, I meant that she was filing her nail while telling me which flowers looked pretty. Vera was actually more helpful since she'd cut the stems. And jeez, Kai was a monster when decorating. This man self-elected himself the flower arranger at my wedding. Can't really complain since he has a good eye. Though, he complains the flowers here aren't nearly as beautiful as the flowers in the elf realm.

"So what do you plan to do with her?" Vera asked.

"I don't know. Take her on a little date. I was thinking of a restaurant boat."

"That's cute." She smiled. "El and I are going bowling. Hailey, you should totally come with Finn."

"What about me?" Kai pouted.

"You need to find someone first." We joked.

"Ugh! Can I invite all my partners?" He smirked.

"How are you poly? Don't you get jealous?" I placed the scissors down. "Or don't they get jealous?"

"Nah, we're all one big happy family."

"That sounds like a cult." Hailey snorted. "Kai, can you paint my nails?"

"What color, babe?" He delicately took her hand in his.

"Always the gentleman." Vera snickered.

Vera and I continued conversing while decorating the vase. We all hung out for another hour until they left to do their own things. I patiently waited for Acacia to return home. And when she finally walked through the doors, I jumped in her arms.

"I missed you!" I peppered her face with kisses.

"I missed you too, pupu." She kissed me and placed me down.

"Okay! I want to give you this!" She gasped when I presented the flowers to her. "Do you like them?! I got a little elfy help." I giggled.

"They're beautiful." She melted.

"Oh, and I planned a date for us. And..." I looked her up and down, noticing she blushed. "You are dressed perfect, so let's go!" I dragged her out the room.

The two of us giggled while running hand in hand. We slowed when we got to the bridge the river boat would be passing underneath. Acacia wrapped her arms around my neck while I held her waist. The two of us shared a passionate kiss before hearing the honking of the oncoming boat.

Acacia and I walked onto the dock. I showed the ticket on my phone and we were admitted inside. Acacia and I found a lovely booth near the window. I got a seafood pasta and Acacia got some meat dish.

"So pupu..." She reached across to hold my hand.

"Yeeea."

"I was thinking about the whole marriage thing."

"Yes." I placed my fork down.

"Do you still want to get married?" I began freaking out as I feverishly nodded. "Great." She released a relived sigh. "So I think we should do a marriage retreat first."

"Why?"

"Just to make sure we work on all our issues before the big day."

"Like therapy?" I was hesitant.

"Sort of. Come on, it'll be fun."

"Where is it anyway?"

"On an island." She shrugged.
