^^Misuke
Yeira's POV
Lexi and Hiro walked up to me. I bent down and twisted my body because I needed to double check if that was a massive hickey on Lexi's neck. Lexi smacked my arm and huffed. I then motioned to the lipstick stains on Hiro's lips. Hiro frantically attempted to wipe it off.
"Yei, it pains me to say, but I think we have to return now." Lexi sighed and gave Hiro a sad smile. "It's been nearly a week here."
"Ya, I assumed our stay would be ending soon. I just was avoiding bringing it up." I winked.
"I'll say my goodbyes to Hiro." Lexi sighed and wrapped her arms around Hiro's neck.
"Ya, I'm sure it'll be a swift goodbye." I rolled myself eyes and walked off.
I stuffed my hands in my pocket and whistled as I wandered the palace grounds. I entered the gardens to find Inari and Misuke relaxing on a swinging bed. I decided to harass them and invade their privacy.
"You two screw yet?"
"Must you be so crass?!" Inari chastised.
"Just curious about your sex life." I smiled. "And yours as well. Gotta make sure Hana's mom is getting the pressure relieved in her lower regions."
"What does my daughter see in you?" Misuke pondered.
"The best thing she'll ever have." I beamed. "When will you get together? Gotta put a ring on it Inari. I heard Misuke is a popular bachelorette." I teased.
"You can stop." Inari halted me.
"I deserve some tea." I annoyed them by flopping between them. "So you gonna divorce your man?" I kicked my feet on Misuke's lap and rested my head on Inari's lap.
"I haven't known you for long, but you're not my favorite." Misuke narrowed her eyes.
"Who's the competition between?"
"Tamamo and you." Misuke smirked as I glared and Inari bursted out in laughter.
"Yeira, why don't you disappear?" Inari faked a smile.
"I am." They appeared confused as I sat upright. "I was actually trying to find Hana. Lexi, my guardian and self-declared bestie, advised me to return. My family is on a dangerous mission, but I deserted them to assist Hana. Now that everything is good here, I need to make sure they're okay."
"When are you leaving?" Inari appeared saddened.
"Like now if I can." I took a deep breath.
"You'll be missed. And should come visit." Misuke spoke.
"I'll keep that in mind." I smiled before jumping off the bed. "Empress! Empress' mistress!" They glared at me.
I left them and scoured the palace. I found Deji and Hana giggling in the tea room. I knocked on the door and waited for them to address me. Deji rolled her eyes at the sight of me and left.
"Hey, jagi." Hana smiled up at me.
"Pika pika!" I bent down and kissed her. "How are you?"
"Doing well. Having fun reconnecting with everyone. Didn't realize how much I missed them." She smiled.
"I'm happy for you. I've had fun here as well."
"Why do you appear glum?"
"Lexi said it's time to leave." I watched her smile fall. "Time to go back and see if my family has been slaughtered by Geneve or not. Just the usual."
