"Bella, my love." Edward was sitting at my side. "It's ok, it's all ok." He hushed, pulling me into his lap. He looked up at Alice, whispered something low and quick, and she nodded. I looked up at him, watching his face as Alice showed him something. "No." he whispered, holding me closer. "I'm sorry Edward." She explained, before squeezing my hand. "I'll leave you alone."

I lend into Edward more, hoping I was acting right. "She's gone." I muttered as he soothed my hair. Edward didn't say anything, he just continued to clam me down. "Bella, Esme wants to know if you would like her." Edward asked me, but I shook my head. I only wanted Alice. She still had to tell me more about my daughter. "Sorry Esme." He spoke, keeping me in his lap. I heard footsteps, before Jacob walked over to us. "Everything-wow, Bella?" he asked, and I looked at him. He was bending down, resting his hand on my leg. "What's wrong?" he asked. I looked at him, knowing what Alice told me. How could I lie to Jacob. He had never done anything to hurt me, and I was about to tear his heart out and burn it. "Bella, you don't have to tell him." Edward hushed, and I sat up. "No. I do." I told him. "Alice had a vision." I explained, hoping that's what she showed Edward. "They've killed Renesmee."

"They what?" he asked softly. "Alice saw Aro feasting on a young-" "It's somebody else!" he snapped. "It has to be. Where do they live!" he asked, his body shaking with anger. "Jake." I whimpered, but he took off into the woods. I looked at Edward, and he nodded, knowing I had to follow him. I took off, quickly finding his scent and allowing myself to follow my son-in-law though the woods. Every hundred meters or so, I would come across Alice's scent, but I wouldn't bother about it right now.

I finally found Jacob sitting on logs, his paws covering his face. "Jacob?" I asked, and he looked up. "You really shouldn't be left alone." I told him, but it looked like he didn't care. "Where's Seth? Or Leah?" I asked, and he looked over the behind the logs across the field. I spotted sandy fur curled asleep in the shade of the logs stacked. "Jacob, I truly am sorry. I know I'm her mother, but you were her mate. I don't know what I would do if I knew Edward was dead." I told him, and he looked up at me, before slowly standing. He began to walk away, so I followed.

He stopped, turned around and looked at me. He had pleading eyes, before he shook his large scruffy head. He took off behind some logs, and I heard him call out to me. "Just give me a moment ok Bella." He asked, so I stood in the rare beam of sunlight, watching my skin sparkle. Jake was soon sitting on the logs by a still sleeping Seth. "I think we both know what you would do if Edward was dead." He told me, his face blank. "Remember junior year?" I nodded slowly, remembering the seven months that I was without Edward. "How is he holding up anyway?" "He's being brave." I told him. "But I know him, he's dying inside." "Why would they do this?" he asked. "The Voltori think we're a threat, they want to keep us inline." I explained, hoping that I was doing a god job. I heard the trees rustle, and a black wolf walked out. "Hey Sam." I smiled, and he walked closer. I as thankful that we could live in harmony after everything that we went though with Jacob and Renesmee. He nodded at me, before looking at Jacob. He looked back at the forest. "I'm going to go talk to him." He sighed, and I nodded. "Jacob?" I asked, and he turned to face me. "Just, don't go cliff jumping." I asked, and he smiled. "I wont." He told me, and ran off with Sam, still in his human form until he got into the woods. I walked out of the clearing, to head back home, when I came across Alice's trail again. I decided to follow her, to find she was sitting at the top of a cliff, the same cliff I just warned Jacob about.

"Alice?" I asked, but she didn't respond until I sat down. "We don't have much time, so we must make this quick." She informed me. "Now, the vision I have showed everyone is what would have happened if one person didn't do one thing. It was her fate." She informed me, and I nodded. "So what happened to her?" I asked her. "She and Alec will be getting married."

"Alec?" I asked, and she nodded. "Aro wants her dead, but Alec has fallen in love with her, so Aro is allowing her to be married to him." "But they don't give second chances?" I asked. "They never gave us the first. They just took her." she informed. "So technically, they did the wrong here, we should not give them the second chance." Alice smiled, knowing I understood. "But how will we do this, everyone thinks she's dead, they wont go and get revenge." "No, and that's what we need. I need you to pretend to be taking this harder then Jacob, harder the Edward." She explained. "It's up to you now, I see either we get Renesmee back, or she marries Alec." She explained. "What do I have to do?" I asked, desperate for my daughter.

"You need to be heart broken. Over bored on the feelings, so Jasper can feel you miles away. Make him feel like this for months, he'll handle it." She explained. "I see Edward wanting to cheer you up, so he allows me to take you for a holiday." "To get her back." I smiled, and she nodded. "Do you think you can do it?" she asked me. "Hey, I jumped off a cliff, rode a motorbike and went looking for danger just to trick myself to see Edward again. I think I could do something simular." I told her, and we ran of.
