Chapter eighteen - the vision

His eyes weren’t dark brown like they where two days before. Today they where bright crimson. “Jacob, are you ok?” I asked him. He looked around for a couple of minutes then looked at Billy. His mouth curled back. “JACOB, DON’T!!!” Dad called out jumping in front of Billy and Jake and pushed Billy back at the same time. “Get Billy out of here.” He ordered. The pack quickly got him out. “Jacob, listen to me, I can see that your different and you might be confused.” “You bet I am. Why am I here?” Jacob asked. “ Nessie, your bigger.” He said looking at me. I smiled back. “I guess.” I wasn’t keeping track anymore. I was just glad that my husband was back. “Why is everything so clear now?” Jacob asked still looking around the room. “That’s because, well you’re a , um, a vampire.” I told him walking over to him. “WHAT?” he asked me.  “Ness, don’t get to close.” Papa said. “I’m fine. He wont hurt us.” I told everyone. “Why can I see- WOW-“ Alice said coming into the room. “Jacob. Is. One. Of. Us.” She said out loud. Jake turn to see her. His bright eyes where un-miss able. Alice froze. She wasn’t looking around the room, she was having a vision. “Alice, what is it.” Papa said. “No, why?” Dad said looking at Alice. She snapped out of it and looked at dad, “possibly a week, two at the max.” “What is going on?” Jake asked. “The world… the volturi want to take over the world!” Alice said trying to figure out her vision.

“Nessie, go take Jacob to hunt please, I don’t want him to kill anyone. Alice come talk with me please. Ness you can leave once I give the all clear.” Dad said waling out the room. Alice followed him out. “All clear.” Dad called out from down stairs. “Why did he do that?” “You remember how protective you were of me when mum was meeting me for the first time?” I asked him walking out the door. “I think so, everyone was unsure of what she would do until she… oh.” He said a he worked out why he was sent to hunt. “But I can handle you.” He said looking at me. “Yes but what about your dad. He is human.” I told I’m leading him out of the house and into the forest. He stood there and he started to shake. “That wont work, you’re a vampire now.” I told him taking his hand. He smacked me back and I fell against the house. Dad came running out just as Jacob phased. I got up with dads help. “Are you ok?” he asked. “Yeah I’m fine, but the house isn’t.” I told him pointing to the huge dent that I left. Jake came over to me and whimpered at my feet. He got down on his chest and bowed his head. “He wants to know ‘do you forgive me?’” I placed a hand on his scruffy head and showed him that he didn’t hurt me. He stood up and shook me off.
