Chapter twenty - I think...

I woke up, and the sun was already high in the sky. There was a small pain in my swollen stomach but I didn’t take any notice of it. I closed my eyes and went back to sleep. I woke up again about two hours later with another pain, this time slightly stronger. I rolled over to get up and saw a note laying next to a bell. It was addressed to ‘My baby girl’. Dad! ‘When you wake up just ring the bell and I’ll come up ok. Love you, dad.’ I looked at the clock, 12:00pm. I was kind of hungry so I picked up the bell and before I could ring it there was a knock on the door. “Come in dad.” I said placing down the bell and note. “What did you want?” he asked me. Nothing just mum. “I’ll get her, Bella!” he called out walking out the room. Before anyone came in there was a small shooting pain from the twins again. It was nothing bad but I knew what it meant. “What’s the matter, Ness?” mum asked walking in the bedroom. “I need to ask you something.” “Ok, what?” she said sitting on the edge of the bed. “Can you come closer?” I asked her. She shuffled closer so I could place my hand on her cheek.  I showed her that the kids wanted to come.

“CARLISLE!” she shouted picking me up and racing me to the library. “Yes?” he asked walking into the room. “I want to know how big I am.” I said. Mum had already laid me on the hospital bed that they set up in here. “Sure, you’re thirty-nine and a half inches. Why?” “Because, I think there sick of being cramped together.” I said with a smile.

“What do you mean Nessie?” he asked me as he sat at his desk. “I mean that they want to be free.” I told him. “Are you alright? Is something wrong?” he asked me slowly walking over to me. “Everything is fine.” “Then what are you trying to tell me?” he asked. Before I could answer; Alice, Dad and Jake barged through the door.
