I came back out in a lavender strapless dress with a flower belt going around me just under the breast. The dress only just covers my but. I was sick of having my hair up so Alice let me take it down. Now my hair was wavy, just how I like it. I met Jake out near the front door. “ You ready?” he asked. “ Yeah” I replied. We opened the door and got showered with rice. He shielded me from most of it but someone, either my dad or Emmet, aimed the rice right in the middle of Jacob’s back and it bounced back on me.  Then I heard Emmet crack-up. We finally got to the car. I saw mum and dad standing in front of the door, blocking me. “Now can I know where we are going?” I asked them. Jacob stood next to mum.

“Sorry Princess, if we did Alice wouldn’t have let us stand here.” Dad said.  “Ok” I said. I really wish I knew where we were going. “ But trust me you will love it.” Mum said with a smile, while picking out the grains of rice that are stuck in my hair. “ You will come see us won’t you?” dad asked. You know I will. We both smiled. Mum looked at me then at dad and smiled with us. “I’ll get the bags.” Jake offered. “No need I have them.” Alice said carrying four humongous suitcases and a carry bag. “ How much stuff are we going to need?” I asked all four of them. They just laughed. “Come here,” mum said pulling me close. “Have fun ok, and don’t break anything.” Dad laughed at that. I don’t know why but he did. I hugged dad good-bye and they stepped aside so I could get in the car. “ Oh, Alice.” I called out. “ Yeah, what’s up?” she replied. “Can you just tell me if it’s going to be sunny or snowy, please.” I pleaded. She looked at Jacob then back to me “ Fine, it will be sunny!” she said storming away. I had know idea why we had so many clothes then.

Jake started up the Volvo s60r. I still hate how quite the engine is, there is only a quite purr sound. “Let’s go.” He said pressing the gas pedaled down. We slowly cruised past everyone.  Hannah, Jade, Sophie, Emmet, Jasper, Alice, Rose, Ma, Papa, Grandpa Charlie, Mum, Dad, Sam, Seth, Leah, Sue, Billy and everyone else. As we hit the freeway he asked me “so where do you think we are going?” I couldn’t really explain so I placed my hand on his cheek and showed him. It had a lovely beach and was bright and warm. It was off the back of a post card. “Your close but you don’t have it spot on.” “Oh” I said I really hoped it was private.

As we got to Seattle we headed to the gate that said ‘Houston’. “It’s just a stop along the way” Jacob answered my mental question. We bored the plane and I settled down to try and sleep. It felt like I had only slept five minute when Jake woke me up to hop off the plane. I ‘zombie walked’ through the airport to the next terminal. It wasn’t until I heard the pilot say we where heading to Rio that I realized where we where going to spend our honeymoon. “ So, Rio huh” I said thinking how lovely and sunny it would be. “Nope, just another stop. And don’t get cranky with me, your mother and father offered the place to us ok.” I was pissed off that it wasn’t Rio. How many more planes did we have to get on until we got to the place that we would be spending three months at?

It was very comfortable in first class. “Did dad pay for this too?” I asked. “Yeah, he paid for everything.” “Wow” I closed my eyes as the sunset. I woke up as the plane was landing. I woke Jacob up and we quickly hoped off the plane and back into the terminal. “So what’s the next flight?” I asked him. “There is none. We catch a cab from here to the next stop.” He replied grabbing the suitcases off the carousel. I was confused if we weren’t staying in Rio but we weren’t catching another flight out where the heck where we staying. We headed outside and quickly found an empty taxi. He grabbed a piece of paper out of his pocket and handed it to the driver. He quickly read it and started the engine.

Rio is amassing, its bright and lit up everywhere. There are so many colours around us and fun in the air. We kept driving until we hit the beach. The taxi pulled over and Jake hoped out. “I thought you said we weren’t staying in Rio?” I asked him. “We’re not.” He called from the back of the car. I thanked the taxi driver and stepped out of the car. Jacob had all suitcases under one arm and held my hand in the other. He led me to a small dock with a boat floating on the surface of the dark water. I knew a little about the world and I was sure the next peace of land from here was Africa. I don’t think that dad would of let us get a boat if we could just fly there, so it had to be up or down the coast a bit that’s all. He loaded the suitcases into the boat and started the engine. We headed out to sea, not up or down, strait out. I showed Jake that on a map that there is nothing out here. “ Yes there is, just close your eyes and I’ll tell you when we get there.” I did as instructed and as if no time had past he woke me up. “Look their do you see that?” he asked me. “Of corse how could I not.” I told him. There was a huge island right in front of us. The land was covered by trees that I could see so I don’t know how we could be staying here. But just as the sun rose from behind the island I could see a small light right in the middle of the island.

As he docked the boat I could see the light a lot better. It was a row of garden lights that marked a sand path into the forest. Jake helped me out of the boat and onto the dock. Then he carried the suitcases in one arm and held my hand again. “Did you want some help?” I asked him. “No, no, I’m fine” he answered back. As we walked through the forest I wondered what we were going to be staying in. Was it a cabin or a tree house? Just then I saw it, it was a house with two large windows at the front that framed the door perfectly. The door was wide open as if some one hurried out of here and forgot to close the door. Just as I was about to walk through the door my feet were swept out from under me. Suddenly I was in his arms and was being carried through the door. “Really!?” I asked him. “What, I promised your dad that I would do everything properly.” I rolled my eyes at that. Of corse my dad wanted to see that.

He placed me down and I looked around the room. It was so bright and roomie just like I was back home. It felt like I could live out here. Also if felt strange being here, like I had seen it before but it was from someone else eyes. I could quite put my finger on why this felt like home to me. “I’ll get the bags.” Jacob said walking back out to the boat.
