Chapter nine - results

Even after I was full, I still didn’t want to go back. When I hunted it felt like everything was different. Like was somewhere else rather than this nightmare. I slowly walked back to the house. Rose left earlier them me as I stayed out here for a while just running around, clearing my head. It felt so good to stretch my legs after everyone babying me. As I had the house in view I saw both Jacob and Dad standing there like they were waiting for something, or someone. As soon as dad could hear me he cam walking over. “ where have you been?” Jacob asked. “ Why didn’t you say that you needed space.” We could of left you, you didn’t need to run off like that. “ he said as we all walk back into the house. STOP BABYING ME! i shouted in my head. “Jacob, it’s fine, she just went hunting.” Dad told him. “Oh, well you could of just said that you wanted to hunt, I could of gone with you…” Jake said trying to hold my hand. “ Please just leave me alone,”  said nicely. I walked up stairs and strait into Papa’s office.

“Have the test finished yet?” I asked him. Papa was sitting at his desk with his head in his hands. “Yes, and it seems that I can’t tell. You both have twenty-four DNA particles. I’m sorry Nessie.” He said lifting up his head. “Papa, what’s wrong?” I asked him walking over and kneeling beside him. “I was hoping to see if this child was more like us or them or if it was more human. I just can’t tell.” He said, not looking into my eyes  “its going to be all right” I said hugging him. I patted his hair smooth. “why are you so afraid Ness?” Jasper asked. “ what do you mean?” I knew what he meant but I wanted to know what he could feel in the room.  “well I sense that you are afraid about this baby, but I want you to tell me.” he replied. Papa looked at me, and could see what jasper was saying was the truth. “Nessie, why are you afraid?” I sat down on the chair against the wall. I felt dizzy, the last thing I remember is the room becoming black.
