As soon as I had rang the ambulance I rushed to the bathroom to release Niall.
“How is Wendy?” he demanded upon my entry.
“She’s coming in and out,” I admitted, he deserved to know the truth, “the ambulance will be here soon.”
“Where did Harry and January go then?” Niall asked me, rubbing his wrists and rising to his face, “they away to the police?”
I raised a hand to my forehead in realization, “shit, he hasn’t come back.”
Niall’s eyes widened with disbelief, “No!” he said anxiously, but I had already run out. Down to the bottom floor, the front door had been busted out. I managed to get through it without getting cut by rogue pieces of glass.
“January?” I called out. I heard a groan. There he was. A mass of curls and limbs on the ground, “Harry!” I called rushing to him. He rolled over onto his back weakly. I crouched down beside him and Harry raised his arm slowly and gripped the collar of my shirt.
“He, he took her,” he said his voice shaky, his eyes dead and cold, “Louis, I don’t know where they went, he took her and now she’s gone.”
I heard the sound of ambulance sirens in the distance.
“It’s okay,” I tried to soothe him as he coughed up…blood, “it’s going to be okay, we’ll get her.”
“Before or after he kills her?”

I lifted her gently out of the back of the car, not wishing to wake her, I carried her like a husband would carry his new wife, but he had stopped us getting that far. I blamed him for turning me into this, I blamed him for making me do these things and he was going to pay. He started this game, I would finish it for him.
I walked through the door of the house, it was dark now and a lot of the team were sleeping. Daniel stood in a tense position outside Ashley’s room.
“Do you want me to put her in for you?” he asked me. I shook my head.
“I’ll leave her in,” I said as he unlocked the door and pushed it back and allowed me in. Ashley was slumped on the ground, not even on the mattress, I rested January’s delicate body across it and brushed a strand of hair away from her face and walked out locking the door behind me.
“What happened to Ashley?” I asked Daniel immediately, walking towards the kitchen.
“Erm,” Daniel said, walking over to the fridge and pulling out two bottles of beer and tossing one towards me.
I pressed my hand to my head, “you didn’t fucking kill her did you?” I sighed in exasperation.
“No, of course not,” he said as if this would cause him offence.
“Good, because I do a lot of things, and that includes keeping my word.” I said, taking a seat at the table. “but we have bigger problems.”
“Like what?” Daniel asked, “you have the girl, mess with Harry’s head for a bit then kill her.”
“Like how Harry knew today was they day I was coming to get her,” I said, raising the beer bottle to my lips and letting the cold liquid rush into my mouth, instantly relaxing my nerves.
“Oh,” Daniel said not meeting my eye and looking away as he took a swig from his own drink.
“Tell me what happened,” I demanded, Daniel looked up sheepishly.
“You left one of your phones here.” He said, I looked at him as indication to continue, “and Ashley was on one of the breaks from her room, and well she found the phone and…” he trailed off.
