She was standing outside, her arms folded, I had ran into a store and bought her a few clothes. She stood in a dress with little small flowers on it and wore a small white cardigan, her hair whipped in the wind, and constantly moved in front of her face, but she made not attempt to move the obtrusion from her face.

I think everything had happened had just hit her, I didn’t want to lose her, I didn’t want to look in her eyes and see the pain of everything that happened, I didn’t want to look into her eyes and see nothing, a deadened look that I had once seen in my own reflection, a look which she had replaced. I wouldn’t let her go under, I wouldn’t lose her again. I walked slowly over to the glass door and pressed on it so it opened, she didn’t look round when I came out. I approached her slowly and settled my hand on the small of her back, she glanced up at my large frame and graced me with a small smile.

She looked down again, she exhaled deeply and I pulled her close to me so she was pressed into my chest.

“I love you so much,” I told her, a lump rose in my throat. She made no reply, “Jan?” I said softly, feeling hurt.

She pulled from the hug and looked at me straight in the eye; I looked back at her with concern, searching for something.

“Harry,” she began softly, “if none of this had happened would you still love me?” I looked at her appalled, how could she think that?

“What?” I said quietly, I gripped her forearms.

“I love you Harry, but I feel like you’re being forced to be with me, protect me, save me.” I stared at her for a moment.

“How could you think that?” I asked, my voice barely audible, “I love you more than anything, anyone.”

She reached forward and gripped my shirt, a desperate plea in her eye.

“Really?” she breathed, it scare me how uncertain her eyes where, then it hit me, the only person she had ever loved before me was Darren, and he had destroyed her, did she expect me to destroy her, is that what she thought would happen.

“Yes.” I whispered, she took my hand and led me away slowly back to the room. She closed the door tight and pressed her back up against it as I moved in front of her. She moved slowly to me and took my hand in hers, she interlocked her fingers with mine. She stared at me for a long second before moving her hands to the hem of my shirt and lightly lifting it up slightly. I grasped her wrist anxiously and leaned in so our foreheads touched.

“You have nothing to prove.” I whispered and she looked up into my eyes.

“I know.” She breathed and I nodded and let the fabric skim my skin until she threw it onto the ground. She wound her arms around my neck and pushed our lips together in a burst of passion, unable to control myself any longer, I moved my hands just under her thighs and pulled them up onto my waist and I felt her link her ankles behind my back. I stumbled towards the room door and her back thudded it slightly and it trembled lightly in the frame.

“Harry,” she whispered gently, I pulled away for a fragment and looked at her searchingly.

“I’ll keep you safe, I promise,” I said seriously, “you’re safe with me.”

She nodded and I picked her up and spread her gently on the bed, her cardigan hung loosely at her sides, I moved my hands from her waist and pushed it down her arms. I moved my hands to the hem of her dress and began pulling it slowly from her body, revealing the pale creamy skin beneath. She arched her back slightly so I could pull it over her waist, I tossed it on the ground, the dress was disgusting next to her beautiful form under me. I brought my lips back to her pink plump ones. I felt her lips stretch into a smile, I moved my hand to her face and gently traced my thumb on her cheek.
