CH 8 : True Feeling (ENG)

"Barcode, Apo!!!"

Barcode smiled happily, when his eyes caught his Daddy, standing there to greet him with a big smile, at the exit door of Changi Airport, Singapore that afternoon. The little man immediately released his hand from Apo's grip, and ran fast to his Daddy who was waiting for him with his arms wide open, ready to hug him.

"Barcode, don't run. You will hurt yourself." Apo, who was walking behind him trying to warn him, while also jogging to keep up with his young master's speed.

"Daddyyyy..." Barcode jumped into his Daddy's arms and immediately hugged his neck tightly. "I miss you, Daddy." He said again, while leaning his head comfortably on his Daddy's shoulder.

"Daddy misses you too, champ. How are you? You being a good boy while I'm away, aren't you?" Ask Mile.

"Hm," Barcode nod his head vigorously. "Because you said, I have to be a good boy and obey P'Po's words."

Mile smiled with a satisfied, "Good boy." Mile said, kissing Barcode's chubby cheek. Mile then turned his gaze to Apo, who was wearing a floral shirt and white shorts, complete with black sunglasses. For a moment, Mile was stunned. Honestly, he also missed this man so much. He felt like he wanted to run into this man's body and hug him tightly. But he knew he couldn't do that for now. "There will be a time." He thought. "Thank you for bringing Barcode here, Po." Mile said, breaking the awkwardness between them.

Apo flashed a small smile, while taking off his sunglasses and then hanging them on his shirt. "No problem Phi. Besides, I'm super happy, because finally I can use my passport again. Hahaha... Well, it's been a while tho..." Apo said.

"I'm sooooooo happy Dad. Because I can finally travel again." Barcode said, while raising both of his hands in the air.

Mile nodded his head, "If you guys happy, Daddy will be happy too." Mile said, sincerely. "Did Barcode bother you while Phi was away, Po?" Mile asked again.

Apo just shrugged his shoulders, "Well, he's still Barcode as usual, Phi. Little troublesome, but actually he's more obedient when you're not around." Apo said.

"Really? Good boooyy..."

"But, yesterday, He was a bit naughty, Dad. He refused to finishing his dinner." Barcode who was in Mile's arms, immediately glared at Apo, grumbled, when Apo tells Mile about his bad behaviour.

Mile immediately squinted at his son. "Why won't you finishing your dinner? You used to eat well when P'Po cooks for you, didn't you, Barcode?" Ask Mile. But Barcode just kept silent, while lowering his head with his cute bulging cheeks.

"He asking for instant noodles, Phi. But I didn't give it to him, because the day before, he had eaten 2 packs of instant noodles."

Mile sighed, "Barcode... Daddy already told you to not eating too many instant noodles, right? Your stomach will hurt."

"But I really want to eat instant noodles Dad." Barcode is still trying to sue.

"I know, but if you eat it too much, it's not good for your health either, honey."

"Hm. I'm sorry, Dad. I'm sorry, P'Po. I promise I won't behave like that again." Barcode said regretfully, holding out his little pinkie.

Apo and Mile laughed in unison, seeing Barcode's adorable behavior. "Alright, this time I will forgive you." Apo said, while hook his little finger to Barcode's. "But you have to promise, after this you can't be fussy about food anymore. Okay, Young Master?"

"Hmm." Barcode nodded. "I promise. But you have to promise too, you will cook a delicious food for me, P'Po. Promise?"

Apo chuckled slowly, "Okay, little devil! I'm promise." Apo said. Barcode smiled contentedly.
