School went by pretty quickly today and now I am currently laying on the floor on my stomach in Su-ae's room because we're working on a project together for class. We decided to split jobs so that I'd work on half and she would work on the other half so we could get it done quicker. I'm researching things on my laptop that I think would be useful surrounding our topic and Su-ae is drawing and cutting out stuff for the layout of our poster board. Music played softly in the background and once and in a while the both of us would sing to it. At some point we both got hungry and Su-ae leaves the room to get us both snacks from the pantry. I heard her groan in annoyance and guessed that it meant we had no food.

"There's nothing in the kitchen. Wanna go to 7-Eleven?" Su-ae asks me and I nod.

"Let me get my wallet," I say as I make my way towards my room. I dug around in my bag and when I found it I grabbed my set of house keys and closed the door to my room. I decided that I didn't need to change into anything else since I was wearing dark gray plaid pajama pants and a light gray oversized sweater with red lettering. I put on my pair of Ugg's slippers and walk out of my room. I see Su-ae wearing red pajama pants with a skull pattern and a gray hoodie with clips in her hair pulling back her bangs. She pulls the hoodie over her head and pulls on the strings so that the hood tightens and only her face is visible along with a few fly-aways. Usually she wouldn't go out like that but since it was fairly late and dark I guess she found it fine so I didn't comment on it.

We walked down the street and made our way to the 7-Eleven that was down the corner. When we got there I picked out a package of instant ramen that I plan on making when we get back as a 'late dinner.' I pass by the Slurpee station and pick up a cup to fill up with different flavors. After I'm finished and put a straw and lid on the cup, I walk to the snack aisle and spot Su-ae squatting down on the floor to get a good look at the bottom shelf that holds all of the flavors of her favorite chips, Poca.

Su-ae turns her head when she can sense my presence next to her and looks up at me with a puzzled look.

"Y/N, which flavor should I get?" She questions me as I stare at her while she lowers her head back down to the shelf and scans her options.

I reply saying, "get the original, you can't go wrong with that."

She sighs and clutches the sour cream and onion bag instead. "I know, but now that I think about it, I really wanted sour cream and onion after all."

"Okay but hurry up, we need to get in line," I say as I walk off to the register. She follows behind me, deciding to grab both flavors instead because she couldn't make up her mind.

We walk up to the cashier when it's our turn in line and place the items on the counter. The woman behind the counter scans our items and bags the chips as well as the ramen packet. We pay, thanking her and picking up our items. Su-ae takes the bag and I grab my slurpee to take a sip. We exit the store at last and begin walking back to our apartment building, before we see Ra-im with her friends from cram school.

Su-ae calls Ra-im over and yells her name whilst waving. I smile and wave too as we make our way over to her. She notices us and turns her head around to face us.

"What are you doing here? Are you on study break? We are too." Su-ae exclaims as she nudges me.

"You came out to buy chips again, didn't you?" Ra-im replies before she greets me, "Hey Y/N!"

"Yeah, we decided to take a break from the project. Are you on break too, Ra-im?" I ask her, sipping my Slurpee.

"Yeah, but we have to go back soon." She says with a sigh.

"You're going to finish late, right? Should we come pick you up?" Su-ae asks Ra-im before tugging down her hood so her hair is now visible.

"That's okay. He's going to walk me home." Ra-im elbows a boy, and I finally look up to see that it's Eunhyeok. The guy who sat behind me in class and sat next to me during karaoke the night before. I turn my head to Su-ae and she looks up at him with a confused face. Eunhyeok chuckles and smiles down at Ra-im. I didn't know that they went to the same cram school. He seems to like Ra-im.

His eyesight flickers to me and he nods, shocking me by saying, "Hi, Y/N."

Even though I was surprised, I greeted him back, "Hey, Eunhyeok." Only then did I remember to greet the others that were there, "Hi guys."

Eunhyeoks eyes flicker to Su-ae and I notice him scanning her up and down. Su-ae becomes self conscious and looks down at herself to notice the type of outfit she's wearing. She only ever lets Ra-im and I see her like that. She looks down at the ground fidgeting and I can tell she's thinking about something.

Eunhyeok breaks the forming silence when he comments, "Such a kind little sister, all worried for her sis," to Su-ae. That makes it go even quieter and yet he continues, "How old are you? Are you in middle school?"

I begin to laugh and I pat Su-ae on the back, saying, "ouch," to her.

That's when one of his friends joins me and begins to bawl his eyes out laughing, saying "Hey, Eunhyeok, are you being serious?"

"Your laugh is so annoying. Calm down, what are you, in elementary school?" One of Ra-im's friends says to the boy laughing. "That's Su-ae, Y/N's twin sister. You guys are all in the same class. I know the semester just started but how can you recognize Y/N yet not recognize Su-ae?"

"Oh... sorry. I think it was 'the hair' that threw me off," he refers to Su-ae's side part and the clips that pin back her bangs, apologizing.

"I think it's time we head back now. Su-ae, let's go home so that we can finish our project. Bye guys, see you at home Ra-im." I smile at them before pulling Su-ae with me as we make our way past them and I send her an apologetic look. I can tell that she's kind of annoyed so I promise her that I'll help her work on the layout of our poster after I'm done researching.

"How did Eunhyeok not recognize me? I'm dating Minu, his best friend! He thought I was in middle school!" Su-ae complains and throws her hands in the air, almost dropping our bag of snacks.

I look at Su-ae for a moment and take the bag out of her hands. "He said it was your hair that threw him off," I say and put my arm around her shoulder. "It doesn't matter anyways. Let's get home and finish the project."

She agrees with me and lets it go, telling me about all the things she wants to add to the poster.
