It's been a week since Su-ae once again proposed to Eunhyeok about her plan to use him whilst at his house. Nothing has really happened at school, everything has calmed down for the past week. Su-ae hasn't had a real conversation with Eunhyeok ever since she embarrassed herself. He rejected her plan, of course.
However, remember that Language Performance Assessment project?
That is the sole reason why I am rushing around the house, surprisingly being able to spend less than a minute blow drying my hair and pulling my outfit on in a time span less than that. I have to be at the café in fifteen minutes and the bus ride is about a ten minute drive from our apartment complex.
The reason why I'm running around right now is because Su-ae is sick and I spent about an hour just now running around to buy medicine and snacks at her request. No one else is home right now so I was left to take care of her. Ra-im is at school for a club and our parents are away for a day trip.
Su-ae had assured me that she was fine and that I could go do the project. I kind of wish that she had begged me to stay home to hangout with her because did I really want to spend my Saturday morning at a café working on a project?
Nonetheless, I find myself unplugging my phone and stuffing it into my shoulder bag that contains my papers and laptop as well. I yell goodbye from the door to Su-ae. She responds with, "have fun!" before I run to catch the bus.
While on the bus, I received a text notification and checked it.

I sighed, releasing air from my mouth and turned towards the bus window. This guy can never show up for just one day to work on a class project, can he?
Then I realize that means it'll only be Eunhyeok and I meeting up today. It makes me a little nervous because of the fact that it's only going to be us at the café but I push it to the back of my mind and turn the volume up on my headphones.

I arrive at the storefront and peer through the window, attempting to see beforehand if Eunhyeok is already sitting there, waiting inside at one of the tables.
I seem to have gotten my hopes up though and I settle on ordering a drink and then finding a cozy well-lit area to work at. I sigh annoyedly at the fact that I could have taken my time when getting ready.
My name is called to pick up my drink from the counter shortly after, as there weren't many people in here to begin with. I thank the person who slides me my drink and they nod, offering me a polite smile back.
I turn around to scan the premise of the shop before my eyes lock on a seat that looks nice. A small round table with a decorative plant in the middle of it and two coasters, accompanied by two seats opposite of each other. I of course set my things down next to the seat that assures me that my back will be facing towards the wall so that I can see the entire shop. I always feel more comfortable that way, it feels cozier in my opinion.
