This morning, I was woken up by the alarm on my phone. I stare at myself in the mirror in my room, trying to find the motivation to get ready and go to school. Su-ae and Ra-im are already awake but are having some sort of small fight in the bathroom. I'm done and I decide to wait around for them because we're all up earlier than usual today. I sit in the kitchen while waiting. Ra-im and Su-ae come in all ready and dressed. Ra-im pulls frozen spoons out of the freezer for Su-ae's eyes. They're all puffy and swollen from crying last night. I'm guessing Ra-im doesn't know why Su-ae was crying. Of course she doesn't.

When Ra-im hands the spoons to Su-ae she goes back into the bathroom to continue brushing her hair. Su-ae stands there with the spoons in her hands but she doesn't move.

I ask her, "Are you ever going to confront Ra-im?" This question catches her attention and she looks up at me. She comes over to the table and slowly sits across from me.

"I've been thinking about it, but I can't. I don't want to. I mean like, what if I confront her and Mom and Dad find out what she did? What if they kick her out? I can't do that to her," she confesses. "I also haven't broken up with Minu yet." Su-ae looks down sheepishly.

"Oh. Well, what you said about Ra-im is true... we can think of something else. In the meantime, try not to think too hard about it. Leave it to me." I told her. I don't want her to have bad thoughts at school today.

We all walked together to school and somehow Minu ended up walking with us even though we left earlier than usual. Su-ae walks next to me on my left, looking very awkward and uncomfortable. I noticed very easily how she tried to be the furthest one away from Minu but it didn't matter what she did, he didn't bother to acknowledge her at all this morning.

Sometime during our walk, Su-ae kneels to the ground to tie her shoe. I stop and wait for her, but Ra-im and Minu keep walking whilst laughing with each other. I look down at Su-ae and she looks up at them. Ra-im turns around and says, "What's wrong Su-ae? What are you doing?"

She makes up a lie and says, "S-Sorry, I left some school supplies at home. You guys go on ahead without me." She looks up and nods at me to go on with them too. I groan in annoyance but know it's because she doesn't want to be bothered.

Now that Su-ae isn't here, I stray away from Ra-im and Minu to walk on my own. Looking at them from behind, it's all so obvious now. I don't know how I or even Su-ae didn't notice it.

I make it to school on time and watch as the Disciplinary Head looks at me to see if I'm wearing proper uniform, he nods at me in approval and lets me in.

After walking up the stairs of the building that my class is in, I unload stuff from my backpack into my locker. I take a seat at my desk and lean back to stretch. Other students are in the classroom with me. Minu is sitting at his desk fidgeting with something and talking to a boy across the classroom, both of them not bothering to get up and move closer to one another. He gets up to leave a bit later and I don't bother on moving my seat forward so he can pass by easily.

I hear a scream outside in the hall and bolt up from my desk to look, peeking out the door. Su-ae is on the ground and Minu is standing above her, laughing really hard and pointing.

"You're so funny, Su-ae. Why are you acting so vulnerable? It's a shame no one else was here to see it," Minu basically shouts and doesn't bother to help her up.

Wow... that jerk. I'm here to see it, and all I see is an unfaithful idiotic guy making fun of his girlfriend. How did she not break up with the guy yet?

She stands up looking really sad and hangs her head low. She reaches down to the ground to pick up a second bag that she was carrying with her. I try to figure out who the bag belongs to but sighs softly when Minu basically tells me.
