This morning I arrived at school and sat down at my desk. I dropped my head onto it as usual from not getting any sleep last night. I kept thinking about the day I had with Eunhyeok. A smile ghosts my face and I shut my eyes, beginning to doze off as students begin to fill the room.

I feel the desk connected to mine shaking and I open my eyes quickly, turning to Minu who is harshly pulling out his chair and dumping his items from his bag onto his desk. I annoyedly rolled my eyes at him. He doesn't notice it though.

My mind flashes back to the memory of Su-ae kissing his cheek. However, as fast as the memory pushes its way to the front of my mind, I push it back. There isn't a need to think about that at 8:00 in the morning.

The teacher's voice rings in my ears and I struggle to pay attention. All I can make out is the fact that we're getting a new seating plan. At this, I jolt myself upright and thank God. I stare at the board with an illustration of the new plan. I go to the front of the class and excitedly grab a slip of paper out of the container for my number. Any seat is better than sitting with Minu.

I unfold the tiny folded paper and see that I received the number 21. I flick my eyes back up to the board and find that I got the seat that was directly behind my old one. I smile at this because I enjoy being at the back of the class. It's always nicely lit with sun but it's never blinding, plus the teachers never seem to notice me when I start to fall asleep.

I pick up my supplies and turn around to toss them onto the desk behind me. I also slide my bag under the desk and then walk around to go sit in my new chair.

The excitement immediately wears off and once again my eyes are struggling to stay open. Everyone is situating themselves and I wonder who my desk partner is, so I glance to my right.

Eunhyeok?

That isn't a bad seat partner. Actually, it's not bad at all. I feel as though I'll enjoy my seat a lot more than I already do. He sits down next to me and looks to see that I'm his seat partner. He lightly smiles. The lighting of the sun really makes his hair look pretty. It's an odd thought, and would I ever tell him that? No, never.

The teacher begins teaching when everyone is seated in their new spots. I scan the room to see where Su-ae is sitting. I find her sitting next to Ajin and I wave when Ajin notices me. She waves back, smiling. I then decided to start a conversation with Eunhyeok, bored and having no energy to listen to the teacher.

"Do you still have the Bob keychain on your bag?" I ask and try to sneak a peek at his bag.

He glances down at his bag and replies, "Yeah," laughing slightly. It goes silent and the conversation dies. I sigh, disappointed. Well, I tried.

I stare at his side profile as he focuses on the teacher's lesson. Honestly, he looks somewhat uncomfortable. His ears are a little red too. I feel confused and wonder if maybe I had done something to him.

Dohwa and I walk out of the gates and he tells me about his new record of receiving six blankets at school today.

"Wow, that many? How is it that you manage to fall asleep so many times during school? Actually, I can't talk. It was so cold this morning and I fell asleep on my desk in the second block." I complain. I think back to how Eunhyeok shook me awake when the teacher was coming over to check our papers. He let me copy his answers and I finished it before the teacher came up to us.

I see Eunhyeok and Su-ae standing in the not-so-far distance from us. Su-ae looks to be talking to him while Eunhyeok stares blankly, nodding his head to whatever she was saying. I bid farewell to Dohwa and he walks off to the friends that he's hanging out with today.
