After having had all my classes I waited in front of the school gates for Dohwa. We walk in silence, exchanging a few words whenever something comes to mind. When we entered the classroom the other students greeted us as we sat down.

Cram school dragged on until it came to a closure and I began packing away my papers and pens as Dohwa walked over to my desk. He pulls over a chair in front of me and takes a seat. He watches me for a few moments before speaking up.

"Do you wanna go to the coffee shop on the way? I don't want to get there too early and wait around in the lobby," he says and helps me pack my stuff.

"Sure, I could really go for an iced caramel latte right now." I replied. "I'm still so tired from this morning and cram school did not help."

Dohwa and I walk out of the front doors when it begins to slightly drizzle rain.

"Ugh are you kidding?" Dohwa sighs frustratingly, staring up at the cloudy sky and positioning his hand over his forehead to cover his eyes, preventing any water droplets from falling into them. I do the same and we both look at each other in agreement that we're going to have to make a run for it.

After about a couple of minutes of running down the streets, we arrived at the café. We stood on the mat in the café and caught our breath while the water on our clothes fell onto the floor. The rain faded quickly after we got in and I pulled out my wallet to order a drink at the register. I tell Dohwa to go get us a seat in the back. He complies and I stand at the front while the barista makes my drink. I pull out my compact mirror and check the status of my hair with it. It isn't too bad, still holding the same shape that it had before it rained. I put it away as the barista calls my name and slides the cup over to me. Dohwa joins the line to the cashier and orders a regular coffee. I walk off towards the table that I spot his bag at.

I take the seat across from his bag and put mine down on the ground next to me. I take my phone out of my pocket and begin scrolling through unread text messages when I spot a message from Su-ae.

I shut off my phone after I received the final message from Su-ae and watched Dohwa as he made his way over. He places his coffee on the table and then proceeds to take his jacket off, resting it on an extra chair to let it dry a little.

I re-positioned myself on the chair, getting more comfortable and asked, "Did Ra-im text you anything else about who's coming and what time she'll be there?"

"Uh... maybe? I don't know, I haven't been on my phone since we got to cram school," he replies before sipping his drink. I copy him and pick up my drink, stirring it once for fun. We stay silent for a while, he goes on his phone and I pull out a study sheet to review some things we did during school. I make note of the café's name and decide that I should come here more often.

"We don't have to be there for another 20 minutes. Or at least that's what Ra-im said." I look up at him and see him raising his eyebrows staring at his messages with Ra-im, eyes locked on his phone.

"We can leave in around 15 minutes right? It shouldn't be a long walk to the karaoke club from this café. Right?"

Dohwa nods his head and gives me a thumbs up since he's drinking his coffee and can't speak. I laugh slightly and continue reading the notes on the study sheet.

After we're done we throw our coffee cups away in the trashcan by the door and leave to make our way to the karaoke club.

Dohwa and I arrive in front of the building and locate the room that Ra-im told us she was in. I take a seat on one of the couches and Dohwa makes his way over to Ra-im, sitting next to her. I talked with the other few I knew. When more people come in I look around the room before asking if we were waiting for anyone else.

Ra-im looks at me smiling and says, "Only Go Eunhyeok, I invited him too. He's in your class, right?"

I nod to her. Minu's best friend. I've never interacted with him or anything so hopefully we can make good impressions on each other. All I really know about him is that he and Dohwa have no interest in talking to each other. Whenever I'm hanging out with Dohwa and someone says that he and Eunhyoek should be friends, he responds by stating the fact that he simply has no interest in even meeting the guy.

Eunhyeok finally arrives despite being 15 minutes late. Some others have already started singing and he looks at them before sitting somewhat next to me. He shifts around on the couch, moving some of the cushions and making himself more comfortable as he rests his back on the armchair. His body was angled towards me and I tried to discreetly copy his position due to it looking more comfortable than the way I was sitting.

The others started volunteering to sing after saying hi to Eunhyeok and they tried making a list of who would sing next and who wanted to do a duet. I didn't really feel like going right now. I was happy with just having the chance to hang out with my friends outside of school. When Ra-im asked Eunhyeok what he wanted to sing, I noticed he was doing the same as I was when he dodged the question.

Thankfully, Ra-im skipped me even though I was next to Eunyeok. Dohwa smiled at me, knowing what I was doing before turning his attention back to Ra-im and whispering something in her ear. She rests her head on his arm and I look away, not wanting to see them flirt.

While the night goes on I eat snacks and converse with some girls from other classes, exchanging numbers with the ones that I don't have and promising that we'll text each other sometime. Everyone was having fun, and the others just stopped singing at some point because they started to feel a little tired. I felt somewhat tired too but the caffeine from earlier has kept me going. At some point in the night I did a short duet with Ra-im and it ended up being pretty fun because of the faces she kept making at me while we were singing.

When it got late I told Ra-im that I was going to go home because when I checked my phone it was 12:30 am. Kind of late but not unusual for a night out even though it was still a school night. She told me she'd join me and everyone else agreed that it was time to go home.

I talked with Dohwa while waiting for Ra-im to finish saying goodbye to Eunhyeok. Once Dohwa left, I had nothing to do but watch the pair say goodbye to each other. I smile at Ra-im when she turns towards me and waves once more to Eunhyeok. While she did that, I glanced at Eunhyeok and smiled awkwardly as he stared at me. He didn't do anything but walk away once Ra-im made her way towards me.

"I'm done. Let's go," she smiled and grabbed my sleeve lightly, pulling me to the direction of our house.

It was a long day so I took a quick shower and did my skincare sloppier than I usually do. Somehow, I managed to skip dinner because of how drowsy I felt after getting ready for bed. When I said goodnight to everyone in the house, I laid in my bed, staring at my ceiling as I waited for myself to fall asleep.
