**Heyy Everyone! I'm SOO sorry I'm late for the update. I got caught up with a few things, but I'm back! Thanks SOOO much for the 173 reads (I believe) and votes! And it's only be like 5 days! I REALLY appreciate it! So here is part 2! Enjoy :)!**

"Ainslee, are you sure?" Gina asked me.

My parents are pretty devoted Christians. They believe in Marriage before sex, and having kids. No drinking, smoking, sex or partying. I have no problem with any of this, because I would never do that in the first place.

But the biggest one of all is no abortion. It's taking away a life. So these are their views. The problem? I'm pregnant, and of course, the only way you get pregnant is by having sex. But I didn't! I'm just praying that they believe me.

"Gina, I have to tell them. I think I'll just go over there and spit it out."

She still wasn't too sure about it, I could tell, but she nodded in agreement. She drove me over to my parents house.

"Lee." She called me as I was about to get out of the car. "Whatever happens, call me afterwards, okay? I'm here for you."

I smiled, "I will, thank you." She smiled back and I walked into my house. I knocked on the door, thinking how on earth I was going to tell them I was pregnant.

"Ainslee." my mother greeted me with a smile.

"Come in."

"Thank you."

I walked into the house and took in the surroundings. This is the house I grew up in since I was 12. Same glass vases, stone walls, gorgeous counter tops. Of course, like a woman who ages up, sometimes, it had work done, but still held its history.

"Your sisters are all at their friends houses. You know teens. Your dad is in the dining room."

"Okay." I laughed, and followed her to where my dad was.

"Ainslee. Good afternoon."

"Hey dad."

We all sat down. "It's a good thing you're here, Hun, because we have some news." my mom said, beaming.

"What is it?" I asked. It seemed interesting.

"Well, you know David Creed? Your dad's friend?"

"Yes."

She continued, "Well, he has a son and-"

"Yes, mom I know. We played together as kids almost all the time."

She smiled, "That's right. Well, his son has asked if you would consider a date with him. He's a wonderful young man. He has the right ideals and values. Comes from a good home. I think he would be great for you, Ann."

Here we go again. You know, the only reason I've never dated before is because I wasn't able to. Surrounded by a judgemental church community, who frowns upon anyone who doesn't attend church regularly.

Once, I had stayed at a friends and wouldn't be able to make it to my church, so I went to the one she attends.

The next Sunday, the Priest pulled me aside after service and asked why I hadn't attended. I told him I went to a different Church. He actually phoned that church to make sure I had been there!

Well, back to the point. All the guys I actually liked believed in God, but weren't devoted Catholics.

My parents keep finding me these over-accomplished church bubs that I just don't find even remotely attractive.

They may look good, but they're so BORING! The only guys they'll ever seem to approve of are the ones they, well, approve.

"Mom! Really? I'm not interested in him like that. He's a good friend. Well, for now..."

I could see she was frustrated. "Ainslee! Why do you keep shooting these men down? Couldn't you give them a chance?"

"No! I don't want to." She recollected herself, then continued.

"I don't understand you sometimes."

"Well, I'm sorry I become someone you can't understand when I don't like the guys you approve of, mom! I'm not you!" she looked enraged now as she stood up from her chair.

"Ainslee," my dad started, "How are you going to get married without our approval?"

"Hmm, let's see. Well, I go down to City Hall, get some witnesses, sign some papers and get married." I told them. "I don't need your approval-"

"We're your parents! We deserve some respect!" my mom yelled.

"Respect?!" by this point, I was standing as well, leaning on the table with my hands, "I've given you your respect! I've done what you asked without saying a word and I'm tired of doing what you want me to do! This is my life. No matter what you say, if I'm not happy then there's no point!" They both looked shocked. Probably cause I've finally stood up for myself.

"What has gotten into you?" my mother said. My dad was rubbing her back. I sat down and so did they.

"Mom, dad. I'm pregnant." They looked up at me in utter shock. I just needed to say it. I knew that if I didn't then, it would never come out of my mouth.

"Who's the boy?" my dad tried to look calm as he said this.

"There is no boy. I didn't sleep with anyone."

"Ainslee, tell us the truth." My mom said.

"That is the truth!" Of course they don't believe me.

"Ainslee, you've disgraced us. First, by raising your voice like that. And your pregnant!" my dad told me. The next thing they said, I just can't believe. "We're disowning you." they said. Tears immediately filled my eyes. They sat there, faces cold with a bruise to their egos.

"What?! You can't do this! I'm-"

"We've made our decision. Please leave." I stood up, wiping my eyes. I turned to leave but said a few things before I walked out, "All you care about is your status and pride." I grabbed my bag and walked out the door. Gina was still there, waiting for me.

I got into the car and put my seat belt on. She looked at me with concern. "Were you crying? What happened?" I just bawled my eyes out. She comforted me, still. When I finally calmed down, I told her what happened.

"They disowned me!" I said.

She was shocked, "You know what? You're staying at my place."

"Gina! I can't just-" She looked at me, completely serious. "Ainslee."

"Okay." I don't know if I forgot to mention but now, all I have is the my wallet, dignity, clothes, and the baking business downtown.

"It'll be okay." She told me as we drove to my place to pack my things.

**I know I said it wouldn't be dramatic, but getting disowned would obviously be dramatic. GRR wattpad only counted it as one page but I thought I wrote so much! Maybe it's cause I'm tired, long day. Well, either way, I hope you liked this part. I'll want to update later today or tomorrow. But if not, I'll do it in 2-4 days. Thanks for reading!**
