-Ainslee's POV-
"Morning Gina." I said as I walked into the kitchen. I was lured in by the smell of pancakes, watermelon, and the sound of the blender. "Good morning." she just finished the fourth pancake and put it on the stack of pancakes. "I can't wait to dig in. Oh, by the way, we're going shopping today." I said, getting up and putting the watermelon on the table. "Right...For?" she asked. "Tomorrow. I need something that would flatter this huge belly of mine." I clarified. "Right. Okay. Don't you need to get a crib too?" she turned off the stove and brought the pancakes and syrup to the table. The plates and silverware were in the dining room.
"Yes, I do. I'll say grace." I said, folding my hands together and closing my eyes. "Please do." I heard her whisper. "Thank you for waking us up this morning, we're very grateful to be able to share this meal on this fine morning. Thank you for the three wonderful babies that you've blessed me with. Thank you for all our friends and family. Last but not least, thank you for this food in front of us that Gina has prepared. Amen." "Amen."
Gina and I opened and our eyes. I rubbed my hands together and smiled, "Let's dig in!" We took our plates and served ourselves pancakes, watermelon and banana-watermelon smoothies. "Oh by the way," Gina started, "Do you know the genders of the little ones?" I shook my head, "No. I want it to be a surprise, but, I'm making sure not to buy any pink. I'll get green, red, yellow, stuff like that." "Good idea." she replies. Just then, my phone starts ringing. I get up, slowly, and went to pick it up.
"Hello?"
"Hey Ainslee. It's Jason." he said.
"Hey!" I said, sitting down at the table again.
"What are you doing today?"
"Baby shopping."
"Oh, of course."
"Why do you ask?"
"I just wanted to hang out, that's all."
"We still can. You can come along if you don't mind."
"Umm..."
"I'd postpone it but I've got to get this done."
"Then I'd be glad to...Uhh...Can I bring Mason?"
"Sure."
"Great."
"We'll meet you guys at the mall around 2:30 pm. Cool?"
"Yeah, see you then."
"Bye." I hung up.
"Jason right?" Gina asked. "Yes. He's gonna shop with us. But he'll bring Mason along too." I replied. "Really?" her face lit up. "Yeah, really." I replied. "He must really like you. Willing to, not only go shopping, but go baby shopping with you. Even though they're not even his kids." she said. "True. Well, I think that's a great thing." I finally started eating. "It is." she said, eating as well. We finished the rest of the meal in peaceful silence.
~2 Hours Later~
"I've gotta say I kinda miss driving." I said to Gina as we got into the car. "What? You wanna drive?" she turned on the car and backed out of the garage. "Yeah, but I'm not going to. Not for a little while." I put on my seat beat and reclined my seat. Goodness, I am tired. I yawned, a long one, and Gina just laughed. "When are those little ones gonna pop out?"
"Next month."
"Wow. Not much longer then."
"Yeah...I'm excited but kinda worried. I mean, three babies. I hope I do well."
"You will. Plus, my mom and I are here to support you."
"Yeah. Thanks."
We got to the mall and saw Jason and Mason. I laugh a bit to myself everytime I say their names together. "Oh look, there's Jason and Mason." Gina started laughing and I joined in. "What's so funny?" Jason looked confused. "Nothing. Don't worry about it." Gina consoled his worried mind. "Alright, so, where to?" I asked. "How are we supposed to know. You're the future mom and god mother." Mason said. "Let's go to Wal-Mart first, since it's closer. Then Babies-R-Us." I walked into Wal-Mart and the rest of them followed. I headed straight for the baby section. I was quickly reminded that I hadn't bought any stollers.
"Gina, help me pick out a stroller." She walked toward me and gave me a double take. "A stroller. As in one stroller?" I laughed, "Yeah. I'm probably gonna end up buying five." She eyed me, confused. "A double stroller, 3 single strollers and a tripple. We also need carseats and the cribs..." I sighed and rubbed my forhead. This is a lot of work. "Calm down, it'll be fine. Look, the guys have already picked out strollers and carseats." Gina and I looked over at them and they had what I needed. "Thanks." I told them. I picked out three cribs and then went to the check out. I just decided to forget going to Babies R Us. Maybe I'll drop by in 7 months.
"Alright, well, I am ready to take a nap" I said, exhausted. "Boys, I think it's time I took this one home." Gina sat down beside me and massaged my back. "But we haven't even eaten yet." Mason said, and Jason nodded. "Tell you what? Why don't we head to our place and I'll make dinner?" I suggested. "Why don't we just get a pizza or chinese? You should be resting." Gina said, still massaging me.
"Alright. I'll make food when after my littles ones arrive. Let's go then." We all went back and the rest of thw night was realxing.
