**Heeyy Everyone!! I have been pretty busy lately with this camp I go to every year and all that. Anyway, I finally have the next part for you! Here is Ainslee’s first ever date! BTW, ‘A:’ means it’s me, the author speaking in the ‘()’. Enjoy!!**
-Ainslee's POV-
"I should have gone shopping!" I screamed, frustrated that none of my clothes were fitting right. There was no too big or too small. Everything is just too small. “Well, we’re shopping now, so chill!” Gina yelled. Everyone looked at us, and one of the workers here asked us to be quiet. “We should just go to a maternity store.” I whispered to Gina. “No, Lee. Don’t. Give. Up!” she whispered back. The only reason we’re here in the first place is because she’s insisting on me buying regular clothes.
I stepped back into the changing room on put on my casual maternity clothes. I’ve had to go shopping every month since I just keep getting larger. Well, my abdomen anyway. I walked out of the store and Gina followed behind me.
I am now in my 7th month (A: I honestly haven’t been keeping track of her months, so, if you have, too bad. Lol) and the babies can come out anytime now, or not. Not even the doctor knows for sure. So, I am just hoping they don’t come today, on my first ever date.
We walked into the Thyme Maternity (no copyright infringement intended) and I was immediately greeted by one of the employees. “Welcome to Thyme Maternity. Would you like any help?” she asked, with a warm smile on her face. “Um…yeah. I’m going on a date tonight and I want something that’s classy but also casual. I also want a gown that I can wear at the hospital.” I replied.
She nodded and led me to the clothing section. “Do you know when you’ll be expecting?” she asked, looking through some tops. Gina just observed the whole experience. “It could be today, next month, we’re not sure.” I said, looking at Gina, then back at the lady. “That’s fine. How about this?” she handed me a floral top that would go well with black jeans or leggings.
“This is perfect. I’ll try it on.” I said, happily. Gina and I made our way to the change rooms. I put the top on and came out. Her face lit up with excitement. “I LOVE IT! YOU WORK EVERYTHING, LEE!” she squealed. “We’ll take it!” she told the lady who was helping us earlier. She smiled and came over to us. “Not many people can pull off this outfit, but it looks absolutely breathtaking on you!” she complimented. I smiled in appreciation. I took off the top, put back on what I was wearing earlier and grabbed the hospital gown -‘replacement’ she’d handed me. We went to the cashier and checked out our items.
-Jason’s POV-
“You look beautiful, Ainslee. I’m the luckiest guy to be able to be with you right now.” I was taken away by how gorgeous she was. She smiled and we took our seats in the restaurant. “You look very fetching yourself, Jason.” She said. I couldn’t help but smile. I just wanted her to have the best, since she is. Man, I sound so cheesy. I’d better stop.
“So, how have you been holding up lately?” Ainslee asked me. I was drinking my water since I was so nervous. I chugged it down and started to sweat. “I, uh…” I grabbed some more water and drank. She started to look worried. “Are you okay Jason…?” she asked. I made the mistake of speaking before I was done, “I-.” water came pouring out of my mouth. I immediately coughed up some more and it ended up on her.
“I am so sorry!” I stood up and handed her a napkin. “Goodness, what have we here? Lee, darling, you let this clown take you out?” We both looked up and there stood a British Casanova. “What-. Wait, how does he know you?” I asked. “He’s the father of my children.” She said, as she stood up and went over to him. He put his arms around her and they made out. What’s going on? I quickly realised who he was. Kevin Wilder, heir to Arise Enterprises.
