-Ainslee's POV-

"The doctor didn't tell us how far along you are, Lee." Gina told me as we were driving back to my place. I think she wants to know since we'll be living together.

I won't be able to afford my current condo since my parents would give me money for the rent. Now that I'm dissowned, I can't stay there.

"Well maybe it's too early to tell. It's fine." I replied. She looked at me and smiled, "You are so strong." "What? How?" I asked, amusement written all over my face. "After what just happened, you can still smile and be happy."

I sighed and smiled, "Well, it's not the end of the world. I really appreciate you offering me a place to stay, Gina." "My pleasure. We're best friends."

She pulled up to my building and we got out. I'm not too worried about telling anyone I'm moving out. Knowing my parents, they'll do it themselves.

We got into the elevator and to my floor. We walked to my door and I opened it, only to see all my furniture was gone. I ran into my room and most of my stuff was gone. My bed, paintings from family, even some jewellery.

"Lee! What happened?!" Gina called as she walked into my room. Her eyes widened in shock when she looked around. "Who did this?! I swear I'll-" "No, don't," I said, stopping her, "I think my parents had to do with this."

"But how did they get here before us?" she asked, confused. I wasn't the least bit clueless about it. "Remember how we went to Dairy Queen and got ourselves Blizzards?" I asked her.

"Oh right!" she replied. "We were there for about half an hour. They must have sent someone over to get my stuff." "What about your laptop? That has a lot of important info in it, right?" She asked. I nodded and smiled,"I had to take the hard drive out this morning since it wasn't working."

She gave me a high five. We packed up my clothes and the money I had hidden. I got the remainder of my jewellery and put it in a locked case.

We walked out the condo and closed the door. "Lee, I just want you to know that no matter how much it seems like it, mooching's okay." "I'm not mooching! I'll be helping you with the bills." she laughed, "I know, I just wanted to lighten the mood." We both laughed. I can always count on her to do that.
