"I like the..." Ainslee looked at all of her choices for wedding rings and just couldn't decide. "Jason, I told you not to buy rings with me! It takes away the magic of you presenting it to me." She complained. "But your tastes confuse me. One day, you want every ring in the store, the next, none of them satisfy you." He told her. He didn't understand why she always wanted to be so traditional. He felt that it was no big deal to have them pick out a ring together. Ainslee, on the other hand, wanted it to be a complete surprise.

"Would you rather me pick one with you? Honestly?" She asked him. He looked at her and smiled, "Yes. Please." Ainslee sighed and looked over the rings on display. Gold, diamonds, gorgeous designs... "Could I...We, take a look at those two?" She asked, pointing to one in particular that caught her eye. Jason immediately lit up as the woman at the counter brought the rings up.

"How about I put this on you?" Jason suggested, picking up the ring. "Do you mind?" he asked the lady. She shooked her head and gestured for him to go ahead. He lifted Lee's left hand with his right and gently slid the ring onto her ring finger. She could tell he was nervous since his hand was shaking a bit. Once it was on, he sighed and smiled with relief.

Ainslee admired her finger with the gorgeos, large, diamond ring on it. "Look at that!" She exclaimed. "I know, it fits perfectly." Jason added in agreement. Ainslee picked up the gold band that was on the counter and lifted Jason's hand. She put it on quickly and then shrieked, cupping her face in her hands. "It's perfect!! We're like just...oh my goodness!" she exclaimed.

Jason took her in his arms and kissed her. She felt like she was a main character in a movie. "You really do that ring justice." he told her, admiring everything about her. In this moment, he knew it was real. "Um...Ahem." the lady at the counter cleared her throat, awkwardly, to get their attention.

"Oh! Sorry! We'll take them." Jason said.

"Where are you going?" Ainslee asked Jason as they were driving. "Home...Where else?" he asked. "Um, I have a doctor's appointment, remember? And then, after that I want to go shopping for maternity clothes. My old ones aren't fitting properly. The kids also need new shoes and clothes since they've gotten bigger. I was worried before since they seemed so small, but boy, are they growing! Oh! We also need to get groceries. And then we can head home." Ainslee told Jason, smiling to herself.

"Are you serious?" he asked, barely registering everything she just said. The long list of things they had to do. "But there's a game today!" Jason whined. Ainslee glared at him and kind of regretted mentioning that.

"What game?"

"Basketball."

"What time?"

"7:00pm...It's 5:43pm right now."

Ainslee thought about it. The doctor's appointment wouldn't end up taking more than 45 minutes, and the office is close to their house. It's just a different highway exit. Jason had been really caring, dedicated, and barely complained. He probably really wanted a break. Of course, she did too, but she understood his position.

"Alright." She said, giving in. "Let's go to the appointment. After that, we can head home. I'll go shopping with the girls." "Yeah, but-" "And the kids." Ainslee added. Jason sighed in relief. "I love those kids, but they like you more than me." Lee laughed. "Don't worry, I understand. The exit's coming up."

"Good evening! Come in!" Doctor Jones exclaimed. She was the same doctor Ainslee went to went to when she was pregnant with the quads. "Thank you!" Ainslee replied, sitting down on a nearby chair. Jason sat down beside her and Dr.Jones went to grab her clipboard.

"Okay! So, you are her for... An ultrasound, correct?" the doctor asked. "Yes." Ainslee said, nodding. "Alright! So, let's get you to that room. I've already set it up." she said, gesturing Ainslee and Jason to follow her. They walked down the hall to the ultrasound room. Ainslee sat on the long chair and lifted her shirt as Dr.Jones requested.
