-Ainslee's POV-
We walked out of the elevator and into the foyer. "Ainslee!" I turned my head to see who was calling me. Kaleb, one of my neighbors.
From the look of it, it seems like he was doing some laundry. He shirt had a few stains on it and, well, to make it obvious he was holding laundry detergeant.
"Heey Kaleb! What's up?" He looked from right to left, looked like he was looking for someone. "I saw some guys go to your place not too long ago. Looked like they were delivery men or something." 'Too little, too late Kale.' I thought to myself.
I quickly covered up what had happened, "Oh, they were just taking a bit of my stuff to Gina's place. I'm moving in with her."
"But they took a whole couch! And-" "Okay! There's nothing worry to about, okay Kaleb? You can just get back to your laundry." Gina cut it, saving me the trouble of an extra explanation.
We walked out of the building, leaving him looking confused.
"Gosh someone's nosy."
"Right?! And you lived with him."
I laughed, "Not 'with' him-"
"You know what I mean. Maybe this all happened for a reason. To let you live in peace."
"Maybe. Thanks Gina!"
"You are very welcome." She replied, putting her arm around my shoulder.
We got into her car and drove to her place. We got out of the car and walked in.
"Okay, so, here's how it's gonna go. You already know where the kitchen and dining room are. I'll buy the food on Sunday and Thursday. You can buy it on....Tuesday and Saturday. I'm buying one week, you're buying the other. Cool?" She turned to waiting approval.
"Yeah. What about the cooking, cleaning, and bedrooms?"
"Well, in terms of chores, for dishes, we should just wash our own. For other chores like laundry and stuff, we alternate by chore, per day. And your room is upstairs next to mine. There's a bathroom in each room. So yeah!"
"Okay, let me put my stuff upstairs. Do you wanna eat out tonight or order something? I'm too tired to cook."
She laughed, "I was thinking the same thing. And, of course you are. You're prego." I just rolled my eyes and went to my room.
I walked in and saw a gorgeous queen sized bed and a dresses on its right side. The closet was big enough for two. I dropped my suitcase inside it and close it again. I walked into the bathroom and it was gorgeous as well. Gina sure does know how to decorate a place.
I walked back downstairs and she was waiting at the bottom of the steps. "Guess what?" she asked, beaming.
"What?" This girl...so random. That's one of the reasons we're 'besties'.
"They have a special at the Blue Dragon restaraunt. You get two appettizers, soup, two main dishes, dessert and drinks for the grand price of..."
She paused for what seemed like forever, just smiling. "Of...? What?!" "Chillax. Of...$15.99!"
We both cheered. The Blue Dragon is one of favorite restaraunts.
"Apparently, they've made so much money they're willing to practically give food away. But it's only until tomorrow."
"Well? Did you order?" I asked, still a bit excited. "Ugh! I'm offended that you assumed I would...n't. Of course I did!" We both laughed.
When the food came, we sat in the dining room and turned on the TV since we could see it from where we were.
"Darling," Gina started in a horrible Italian accent, "You like it ata ma place?"
"Yes it's, how you say...Manifique!" I replied in a French accent.
"Of course, bella! You are ata Gina's place. Sempre meraviglioso qui il mio amico (always wonderful here my friend)."
"Oui!" I replied. We both laughed. Gina is part Italian, so it's funny that her accent was so bad.
"And, just so you know, worst Italian accent, EVER!"
"Haha, I know."
