please. oh my god. those words rang through my head. i loved hearing that.
"say that again" i said as i looked at him
"you're mine." he said as his lips touched mine. i put my hand in his hair. i probably looked like a mess rn but i didn't care.

as we pulled up to my apartment, i gave joão one last kiss before leaving. i walked inside my house and i look in the mirror. damn, what happened. i hopped in the shower and decided to do some self care. i shaved, washed my hair, i did everything you could imagine. i decided to do a face mask.
i looked a bit crazy, and of course ..
joão was calling me. not just calling, but facetime.
he's seen me with no makeup but this was a whole mother level. when i so self care i look crazy. i pressed answer faced the ceiling.
"hey," joão said "i got a question for you"
"what's up" i said as i shut the fridge
"where are you?" he questioned
"my kitchen" i said
"no," he said "why aren't you showing your face?"
"i look crazy joão," i said "you called at the worst time"
"no you don't," he said "i've literally seen you with mascara running down your face, not to mention i've seen you naked."
"you didn't have to go there," i said as i laughed
"anyways," joão said "back to my point.."
i grabbed a bag of chips and started eating them.
"uh," joão said "are you eating chips?"
"yes," i said "now ask your damn question."
"right," he said "my friend is having a new year's party, do you want to go? i'm not going if you aren't."
a new year's party? at least i'll have my first new years kiss.
"sure," i said as i closed the bag of chips "i'll go."
"thank the lord." he said
"do you think i would pass up free drinks?" i said
"whatever," he said "i'm going to bed, goodnight." he kissed the screen
"goodnight joão" i said as i waved to the camera
"show your pretty face, pleaseeeeee"he begged. why did i enjoy that. anyways,
i showed my face. with face mask on and everything. hair up in a towel, robe on.
"you look cute," he said as he laughed "goodnight"
"goodnight" i blew a kiss and winked.
he gave me a disgusted look so i hung up and he texted me,
