y/n's pov:
i woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. i checked the name, just jasmine.
"hey what's up?" i said as i stretched.
"GIRL, it's 10:34, why aren't you up yet??" she said aggressively.
"if it wasn't for you, i could've slept in til at least 12." i said as i yawned.
"whatever, do u want to come over? julien has his friend over and i'm bored."
"yeah, give me like an hour to get ready"
"great, see u soon!!! love u." she said as she hung up.

11:13 am.
i grabbed my keys and drove over to jasmines apartment. her and her twin live together, so anytime i come over hes usually there but has a friend over or stays in his own room. thank the lord. i arrived and parked my car. i brought her some snacks that she requested me to bring. she wanted to watch a movie.
knock.
i looked down at the ground while waiting for her to open. the door opened and she hugged me.
"hey!! i missed you!!" she said as she hugged me.
"jasmine, we hung out like 2 days ago." i said laughing as i hugged her back.
"i know, but i missed my best friend!" she said.
i stepped inside, placing my bag of snacks on the table and hanging my coat up. since it's december, it's getting so cold out. i took my shoes off and sat down on the couch next to her.
"okay, what do u want to watch?" she said handing me the remote.
"hm, how abo-" i said before i got cut off.
"hey, we were going to watch tv! we told you that!" julien said as him and his friend stepped out of the room.
i looked behind me and saw julien, and then his friend. his friend had beautiful brown hair and brown eyes, i couldn't help but stare. he was fine af. i think jasmine noticed and smiled.
"uhm, we got here first anyways." jasmine said.
"it's fine, we can go do something else?" i said to jasmine.
"bruh, let's just join them. if we can." the mysterious cutie said. (i'm sorry LMFAOO)
"yeah, i guess." jasmine said.
"y/n this is joão, joão this is y/n." jasmine said winking at me.
"hi." he said softly as he sat next to me. he seemed shy.
i smiled and said hi, i couldn't help but blush. julien rolled his eyes at joão.
"pick a movie already damn." julien said.
jasmine picked out a horror movie called "smile". i'd never seen it before but i heard it was good.
"i'll be back" joão said as he walked to the bathroom.
jasmine nudged my arm and smiled at me. i was confused.
"what?" i said
"you know what." julien said
"girl, you're in love." jasmine said
"i just met him!"
"and?? u cant tell me that u weren't wowed the second u saw him."
"maybe.."
"so u think he's cute..?" jasmine said, winking at me.
"he's fine."
julien and jasmine laughed at me as i said that, maybe i should've talked a little quieter because joão walked out the bathroom with a smile on his face.
