'Tommy...'
He ran through the trees the voice behind him mocking as he stumbled across the forest's narrow path.
'Tommy.'
His legs started too buckle, weighed down by his exhaustion.
'TOMMY!'
He felt tears well up his eyes as the voice only seemed to grow closer as he started succumbing to his fatigue.
'TOMMY WAKE UP!'
Tommy's eyes slammed open as he awoke with a shout.
"Jesus big man, calm down! its just me" A voice said from above him holding out a hand to help him stand up.
Tommy, still breathing heavily, glanced at his friend with a guilty expression and took his hand.
" Sorry Tubs, I just had another night-"
" Nightmare? No shit man it looked like you were having a panic attack in your sleep, you ok?"
Tommy stopped for a minute staring at Tubbo's face only now realising he held a concerned expression.
"Yeah, Yeah I'm," He paused, taking a deep breath "I'm fine big man don't worry about it."
Tubbo looked at him with a face that told Tommy he wasn't convinced before shrugging his shoulders and signalling for him to follow him. The two boys walked out of their makeshift bedroom and walked into their quote on quote 'Home'.
Its not like the place was even fit for them in the first place but hell were they lucky to stumble across it. Living in an ole, abandoned warehouse isn't exactly consider comfortable . From the outside it looked like a rotting piece of junk and the inside was no better, paint peeling off the walls, mysterious stains littered everywhere, exposed bricks at least the boys had made it somewhat habitable after years of living there for example, Tommy's art was painted all over the walls and Tubbo's inventing had led to some interesting furniture items all over the place!
So too put it lightly, they weren't the richest people in L'manburg.
"Purpled and Ranboo should be back soon with some food if they managed to steal anything, So please clean up a little Toms," He sighed before patting Tommy on the back and heading out.
"Wait, where are you going Tubs?" Tommy asked, the confusion clear on his face.
"Job interview, but with these clothes," He looked distastefully at his outfit, "Don't think ill get very far"
Tommy could only nod his head in agreement, it was unfair for people like them in district eight. Could you even blame them for stealing? I mean its not like they had any other choice, they tried working they really did! Its just never worked out for people like them.
"Bye Tommy!"
"Bye Tubbo and good luck man!"
"Thanks! oh and don't practice you powers in here anymore remember what happened last time?" He said glancing at the burn mark on the ceiling.
Tommy chuckled lightly before promising he wouldn't use his powers as much as he was dying too. As his friend left Tommy looked back on to the warehouse and with his own two hands he-
He prayed to whatever God that he would be given the strength to clean this dump of a home.
In the end Tommy had only really managed to clean the floor which was a huge win in his book even if their was still trash piled into the corners at least he didn't just shove it in the middle like Purpled does!
