Fighting Fire With Fire.

"Prometheus!" yelled a dangerous voice from above him.

Tommy quickly looked up surrounding his fists in fire only to met with the upmost shock when he was met the masked face of-

"Vulcan! what's an ugly bastard like you doing in my district?"

"Sent to get rid of you actually after all someone got to... get rid of a rat,"

"Fighting fire with fire? Surely the agency's smarter than that?"

"Trust my word Prometheus it was not my idea but no one exactly eager to" he developed a face of disgust "Visit this district."

Tommy could feel the fire within him ignite with fury.

"You gonna regret those words Vulcan."

The man in question looked at him smugly before replying "I don't think I will."

"Tommy! Look You're on the news!" Purpled whisper yelled across the table pointing at the TV in the corner of the café.

All the remaining boys quickly whipped their heads around to face the TV and sure enough right there on the news was a clip of him as Prometheus jumping rooftop to rooftop propelled by his flames. The clip was taken off the screen and replaced by a person talking about him. Tommy quickly started paying more attention to hear what they where saying.

"This is one of the many videos of Anti-Hero Prometheus a surprisingly new heroic figure in district eight. It is estimated he has only been active for two weeks but in that short period of time he has made quite a name for himself amongst the people of the district. Various people who have witnessed him in action say he makes careful and calculated decisions ensuring the safety of everyone around him. Criminals caught by him say he is a force to be reckoned with and a scary one at that."

"Prometheus leaves only few things behind such as his artwork, The Criminals he puts to justice and scorch marks left on the ground. His artwork however is what he is most famous for every piece seemingly leaving messages for what we think are the heroes. More on that next time now moving on to the weather-"

"Man I can't believe you were actually on the news Tommy!" Tubbo said excitedly earning a harsh shove from Ranboo and a gesture to be quiet. 

"its so cool big man! I feel like I'm famous!" He said quieter but the happiness still clear in his voice.

"Don't you realize what this means Toms?" whispered Ranboo anxiously "Heroes and Villains are going to start taking notice of you! This isn't all a good thing!"

Before Tommy could reply a waiter called on him to collect his drink. As he returned he saw Ranboo still looking at him nervously.

"Ranboo don't worry about it the Villains are pretentious fucks they won't even consider me a risk and Heroes won't take notice after only one news story especially since its only one district I'm in!"

Ranboo didn't look all that convinced making one last remark before letting the group settle back down

"Fine, but be careful tonight on patrol if you see a hero even a minor one come back home ok?"

"I promise Boo." Tommy said still thinking a hero would never come to district eight.

Well he thought it at least.

Slipping into his costume with practised ease Tommy bid his friends goodbye before exiting their home. But not as Tommy, As Prometheus. Tommy propelled himself into the air with his flames landing on a building and jumping right off. He laughed with childlike glee as he felt the night air whip against his face.
