Tommy allowed himself to cry.
And he never felt better.
He felt Wilbur pick him up and bring him into his car. His hands remained firmly on the mans sweater as he heaved out sobs.
"W-Wil." He said shakily.
"Yes sunshine?" He asked softly looking him in the eyes as he seated Tommy in the car whilst he himself still stood in the rain.
"Thank you."
The man might have just melted right there and then as his eyes held such adoration for the boy in front of him. He wrapped his arms around Tommy once more pulling him into a tight hug.
"You shouldn't have to thank me Toms,"
Wilbur said nicknames like they were second nature to the man. Tommy wondered if he knew how warm he felt inside every time he used one. The memories of his friends calling him nicknames like that stung in his heart.
He flinched as the sound of the car door slamming as Wilbur sat next to him, however the man simply sat there his hands gripping the wheel his face in a pinched expression.
"Tommy do you have anywhere to go?"
"No Wil I-" He choked up "T-That warehouse was all I had."
Wilbur looked at him in sympathy before seemingly perking up a bit.
"Tommy we could go to my place." He said hopefulness clear in his voice.
Tommy looked at him shocked before replying hesitantly.
"Don't you live with your dad and brother?"
Tommy had known about Wilbur's family, he had told stories about his brother and their constant banter, And his dad's insistence that he isn't old.
He had once whispered to Tommy how he felt like his father loved his brother more than him, Wilbur hadn't bought the subject up again after that.
"Yeah but Tommy I've told them all about you I'm sure they won't mind it."
"But I wouldn't want to bother you- I mean I would love to come but-" He rambled on excuses.
"Tommy, it's ok really, I want you over."
Tommy looked up from his lap and into Wilbur's eyes.
He reached up a hand and rubbed the dry tears off of his face before sighing and making his decision.
"Ok, Wilbur I'll stay over."
Wil beamed at him.

Tommy was having a heart attack.
"Wilbur what the fuck!?"
"What?" Wilbur said raising a brow.
"Wilbur what is that house?
He was basically glued to Wilbur's side as the man held an umbrella above their heads. The man chuckled a bit at Tommy's star-struck expression before slightly tugging on his sleeve to signal they need to go inside.
Wilbur's house was located in what seemed to be the border of second which meant the house was in the country side. It was surrounded by a dense woods a fair distance away from the road. The building itself however is what shocked Tommy, it was a tall but wide built house with what Tommy could guess was about three stories high. He noticed they drove through a gate earlier and sure enough the house was surrounded by a large fence, the gate they had entered through earlier closed behind them.
