A battle of Two Gods

TW: violence, swearing, blood, fighting

Vulcan didn't give him time to further prepare for battle as he lit a match and enhanced the size of the flame with his ability, throwing it at Tommy. 

See that's how Tommy differentiates from others with fire related powers. Whilst they manipulated already existing fires Tommy could create fire from nothing, he could just will the flames to be there and they would. It was one of the many mysteries of his power.

Tommy manipulated Vulcan's flames to help propel him on to the roof so that they were on even ground.

"Well that just seems unfair." Vulcan said snidely as he watched Tommy manipulate his fire.

"Its not hard to be better than you." Tommy quipped back only further testing Vulcan's anger

See it was widely known as one the flame heroes biggest weakness, he was easily angered. If he got too angry he had less control in his abilities. Tommy knew it was his only chance at winning this fight.

Before he could strategize any further he heard his ear piece crackling too life again and he heard the unmistakable sound of Tubbo's angered voice on the other end.

"PROMETHEUS WHAT ARE YOU DOING? VULCAN IS THE SECOND MOST POWERFUL HERO GET OUT OF THERE!"

"Hive calm down! I've got a plan already and besides I can't run now he'll only chase me!"

Tubbo took a deep breath trying to calm himself down.

"Ok um I'm pulling up the files we have on Vulcan now you've already started playing on the anger tricks now haven't you?"

"Yeah its the first thing i started doing."

"Ok good he readying up his attack again now soo keep playing on his anger I'll be back with some more info on your surroundings pay attention too him Prometheus and good luck."

"I will Hive, I will."

"Done talking to your little friend Prometheus or should I wait a little more until I arrest you?"

"In you dream bitch!"

Tommy didn't give him time to think before summoning fire right beneath Vulcan's feet causing him to stumble backwards and curse in pain.

Tommy's moment of victory didn't last for long as Vulcan pounced at him landed a hit directly on his jaw. But tommy didn't have time to groan in pain before another blow was delivered to his gut.

Tommy backed up away from Vulcan casting a wall of flames too slow him down. He quickly composed himself before gathering a stance more suitable for fighting and bracing for an attack.

"Gonna take any slower Vulcan? Or are you just scared someone with two weeks of experience is going too kick your arse?"

"Shut up you stupid son of a-" Vulcan cut himself off as he lunged for him again but Tommy was prepared now and quickly sidestepped him elbowing him right in the back with some fire behind it so burned.

"Wow no wonder you're only the second ranked hero." Tommy probed his anger more.

Vulcan only let out a cry of fury before throwing more fire in Tommy's direction which he easily dodged. Tommy watched as Vulcan's strikes became sloppier and less calculated as anger took control of his body.

"What's the matter?  Angry you never seem to do anything right?" Tommy was basically using his words as his weapons now watching as he drove the hero closer and closer to the edge of his control.

However after realizing he had gained the upper hand Tommy tended to let his guard down. Blinded by his success he didn't realize the fire ball that was hurled right at his chest.

Tommy was thrown against the floor of the rooftop knocking the wind out of him, He technically wasn't burnt fire users didn't really get burnt but it still felt as if he was.

Vulcan walked over to his weakened form and stepped on his chest further knocking the wind out of him. He gasped for air as he stared into the eyes of defeat.

"Finally got you rat." Vulcan spit out rage clear in his tone.

Tommy tried to reach for his emergency button but the hero moved his other foot so it pinned down his arm. Tommy's eyes filled with terror as he it registered to him there was no way out of this he was going to be arrested he wouldn't get his-

"Vulcan." Said a melodic voice from across the rooftop.

Both the hero and anti-hero's heads turned to look in the direction from where the voice came from.

"How about we step away from Prometheus, I haven't even gotten too say hello yet."

Tommy's eyes filled with an even greater fear when he realized who was talking.

Walking amongst the smoke was non-other than one of the most dangerous people alive and a certified Syndicate member the villain-

"Muse, pleasure of you to join us." Said Vulcan Bitterly

Muse

The Villain who could force you to end your own life just with his voice.

The Villain who is a valued member of the Syndicate a famous organization of Villains.

A person whose name strikes fear into even the heroes.

And he was standing right there. Just a couple of steps away.

And Tommy, Tommy was scared.

"You flatter me Vulcan, but I do insist stepping away from the little hero." Muse said his words  gently but the threat underneath was clear as day.

"Fine but both of you ain't leaving without a fight"

"I would say I'm disappointed but I can't say I didn't want one." Muse shrugged before grinning manically and whipping out his spear. 

Tommy got to his feet as soon as Vulcan lifted his foot off his chest trying his best to get away without the two noticing. But it seemed Tommy's luck had run out for just as he was on the brink of escape a voice dripped with honey called out to him, the voice of Muse. 

"Stop."

Tommy tried moving his legs but they were seemingly glued to the ground. He could only stand there and watch as Muse and Vulcan engaged in a heated battle with Muse eventually coming out on top.

Vulcan clutched his stomach where he had been impaled and glanced at Muse one more time before retreating.

Muse hummed in satisfaction at seeing the hero walk away defeated. The turned back to Tommy a mocking smile on his face. And if Muse hadn't compelled him to stay still back then Tommy's fear in that moment would've done the job for him.

"Hey Prometheus, Why don't we remove that tracker of yours and have little chat. I've been dying to meet you," Muse chuckled.

Fuck.

anyways there's a few tiny plot holes in this chapter but they all get covered in the chapter don't worry and im so tired i made three chapters all in one day so i am on a fan fic high right now. Im trying to pump out as many as i can before school starts so you can expect much more.

Next chapter is starting but maybe not getting published tomorrow because i need a break for now guys. Hope this was a good fight scene because i really love fight scenes so i hope i wrote a good one.
