TW: Battle, And again something I don't wanna say because spoilers sorry bb and swearing

p.s; ART NOT MINE

Purpled didn't really think this through.

To be fair Tommy had made being an illegal hero look easy.

But something he didn't take into account was the amount of heroes in the district because of Tommy.

Or Prometheus, as the people called him. In Purpled's mind he hated Prometheus but loved Tommy. It felt like the more time he buried himself in his work the less he became Purpled's best friend and the more he became the anti-hero.

And he had just wanted Tommy too wake up and notice that there was more to this and life wasn't all about his dying friend!

That sounded way better in his head.

And the only way he could get his attention was by becoming an ally in his work as Prometheus, or an enemy.

And as he desperately fights for his life against the very heroes Tommy despised, he thinks about how he wouldn't even be able to hide his identity from the guy. Even if he was able to sneak out of the warehouse undetected every night, he couldn't hide his powers.

And well, you know Tommy.

He always recognized his powers.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tommy was going to be sick.

Purpled, his best friend, the one he had been with the longest, His very first friend in that fucking orphanage.

Was barely on his feet as two heroes fought him ruthlessly.

He could feel his breaths pick up as he clutched on to Muse's arm.

"Prometheus." He frowned slightly, "What's wrong?"

"Whose that? Fighting the heroes who is that?"

"Some new vigilante? The heroes yelled a name earlier I can't really remember-"

"Muse I know that person. Not as a vigilante but I know them and they can't win against those heroes."

Muse looked at him a minute in consideration before sighing.

"Fine." He stated blandly "Let's go help them."

Tommy released his arm and sprinted into the battle, flames at the ready. He immediately saw the heroes who he quickly recognized as Mask and Vulcan. Great him.

Mask was a known vigilante hater after there was an accident including one that killed his original partner, 404. Tommy could sympathize with him if he wasn't currently killing his best friend. Tommy knew Vulcans fighting tactics but taunting him was too dangerous with the amount of civilians here.

Tommy had known he had to be rational ere, but all that thinking fell down the drain when he saw Purpled's injured from.

That was all it took to get all eyes falling on to him. He could feel the fury radiating of of Vulcan and the relief on Purpled but Mask just seemed to gaze at him emotionlessly before readjusting his stance.

"Well, isn't this fun," Mask drawled.

"Leave him alone guys he's just a rookie," He said slowly.

"Hey Mask how about we kill two birds with one stone?"

"Well Vulcan," The eyes of hiss masked seemed to bore into him. "Sounds good."

Tommy didn't have time to be mad at his casual tone before he was slammed into with Mask's baton. He barely blocked the attack by jutting his staff in its path. He hadn't managed to get on the offensive as he was forced to block all of Mask's constant attacks.
