Quackity was fucking pissed.

And maybe a little scared.

He sat in Tommy's bedroom holding a note, his hands shook as he slowly read what he said.

Hey Quackity,

It's me Tommy and your probably wondering where I am.

Remember how I asked if we could break into the prison? And you said no and that it was too dangerous.

Well i kind of did it.

Don't be mad, please please don't be mad. I have the emergency button on me so if anything goes south you'll know right away.

I promise I'll come back uninjured with Toby.

You favourite employee that you can not be mad at, Tommy.

Quackity wanted to scream.

How could he not see this coming? How could he have let this happen?

He felt tears well up in his eyes and frustration creep into his mind. It wasn't safe out there, he knew that and he had made sure Tommy had known that.

Pandora was in first along with the hero tower. If he manages to escape, which he doubts, Heroes would be following him all the way home.

What if Tommy was dead already? What if he was hurt and he was just sitting here crying like a baby?

But he couldn't stop the tears of worry cascading down his cheeks as he let out a quiet sob.

"Quackity? Are you ok?" Said a soft voice from the door.

He shook his head wordlessly, beckoning the voice closer.

"Oh what's wrong?" Karl asked in a hushed tone, wrapping his arms around him.

"Tommy's gone and I think he's in danger." Quackity said wetly handing him the note.

Karl held the paper in one hand and rubbed his back with the other.

"The prison? As in Pandora?"

He nodded into his jumper.

"Well." Karl put the note on the nightstand. "Maybe this could be a good thing."

"How can you say that? He could be in trouble, or dead for all we know!" Quackity cried out pushing away from the man so they were looking each other in the eyes.

"Tommy said he brought the distress signal right? If something goes wrong you'll be the first to know." The brunet said. "He's a smart kid,  he wouldn't run in there without a plan."

"It's not just that its-" Quackity sighed lifting a hand to his hair. "If he dies, what happens next? What about Wi- Muse and the Syndicate? What are they going to do to us if he's gone?"

"What am I going to do without him?" He breathed out.

"He'll be ok, I promise you that." Karl persisted soothingly.

"Yeah, Tommy promised that too." He  spat bitterly.

"Hey." The man said with a pointed look. "There's someone in that prison that Tommy cares about a lot if he's breaking in to it for them, if anything I'm surprised you aren't helping him right now, because this means a lot to him."

"You don't get it, Pandora is right next to the hero tower it's not worth the ri-"

"Tommy isn't worth it?" Karl said, raising his eyebrows.
