Vio's pov:

Ever since we defeated Gannon and Vaati, Hyrule has been at peace. Almost everyone moved on from it. But I just couldn't get my mind off of Shadow. Yea for the longest time he was the enemy. But without him we would have never defeated Vaati. Without Shadow breaking the dark mirror Vaati would have won. Shadow broke the mirror Vaati's life source...... but it was also his..... So yes he killed Vaati but he killed himself... It bothered the others for a little but not as long as me. They didn't know Shadow.... but I did. The small amount of time I was a "traitor" I really got to know Shadow. He wasn't a total jerk he always acted like. It's just a shield he used. Shadow was really quite a softie. He had the innocence and heart of a little kid. Like Red but less emotional. He's hard on himself because of Vaati and Gannon.... I've seen him hurt himself because of his mistakes. But...... now he's gone. He deserved a second chance but he never got it....

Shadow's pov:

Waking up was something I'd never expect. 'I..... I broke the mirror.... How?' How am I alive? I may be alive but breaking the mirror definitely had an impact. My energy was completely drained leading me to be slow and weak. I barely kept my eyes opened. Where ever I was it's definitely in the dark world. I was gonna move to further check my surroundings was I was stopped. My hands and legs were chained to the wall. I could barely move whatsoever. A gag covered my mouth and prevented anything besides a grunt or something like that for leaving me. Whatever I was... it was definitely a cell. I tried looking around but I felt dizzy and lightheaded so I let my head drop back down. Normally I'd embrace any darkness I was in being a shadow and all. But this felt unnerving and terrifying. I tried tugged on the chains but they didn't give. 'Someone....... anyone...... please.... help...' My eyes were closing against my will.

A slap to the face is what I woke up to. My eyes flew open to see Vaati. 'How he.... he's dead!' But then I'm suppose to be as well. Vaati looked pissed to heck. He kneeled down to my level and grabbed my chin and yanked it upwards so I'd look at him. "Shadow Link.... You betray me? Do you not know what happens to traitors?" He growled. I tried to make my normal smart ass remark but my gag muffled it. So only an unintelligent mumble came out. Vaati smirked and slammed my head into the wall. I didn't have the strength to hold back the scream. But with the gag it came out muffled and werid. Vaati grabbed a knife and held it to my neck. "You should know better than to betray me! You worthless Shadow! But lucky for you I'm not in the mood for hearing your pathetic screams." He cut off the gag with the knife and left a cut along my face. Vaati stood up and held out his hand. Instantly it felt like I've been without air for an hour with a thousand of knives stabbing into my chest. I tried to scream but it wouldn't happen. Desperately I tugged on my chains desperately trying to get out. Vaati smiled at my desperate attempts to get free. I felt something comming out of me. Then I saw a small bright ball leave my mouth. Vaati smiled and grabbed it before sealing it away in something. He pulled out the knife and stabbed my arm. Pain filled my sense. I opened my mouth to scream but nothing came out. Tears filled my eyes from the pain of everything. My struggling against my bonds grew stronger and even more desperate. Vaati smiled at my suffering. 'Someone please anyone!

Vio's pov:

My mind's been restless lately. And for some reason I've been obsessed with the dark world. I've been digging up every piece of information there is. I'm not sure if it's because of Shadow or what. The others just mainly let me do my own thing. That was until this morning. "Hey Vio! You wanna come outside with us?" Red asked. I sighed know how this was gonna go. Red has a tendency to bother someone until they agree. I closed my book and stood with it in my hand. "Fine." Red cheered and rushed out. Before I knew it we're all down by the lake. I'm resting against the oak tree with my book. Blue is practicing his stances. Green is teaching Red how to skip stones across the lake. I just rested against the tree seeing what this section was about. It's talking about creatures from the dark world and their abilities. After a few minutes something catches my eye. A small paragraph about dark spirt and what happens after death.
