Vio and Shadow prt 2 (Four Swords)

Hello my nonexistent readers the idiot is back. If you guys have read my other oneshot book y'all know I can't just leave stuff alone. So this is a second part to Vio finding out that Shadow cuts. Also as you may be able to tell by it's trashy thing the art above is mine.

Anyway who onto the chapter

Shadow's pov:

My eyelids felt heavy and my hand ached. I sat up and rubbed my eyes trying to get the feeling out them. However I pulled one away when I felt rough fabric brushing against my eye. I looked down to see my hand covered with a bandage. 'This wasn't here earlier..' I run a hand through my hair frustratedly. It didn't take much to understand that I cut myself last night but why was I wearing a bandage. I don't remember anything besides cutting. 'How'd I get in bed too.. normally I wake up on the floor.' Nothing's adding up! "No one would have helped me with this.... and I didn't wake up like I normally did..." I mummered aloud like it'd somehow help me solve it. My hand in my hair clenched it out of frustration and confusion. I barely felt the stinging of my scalp and the beginning pains of a headache forming. "I don't understand.."

I sat in bed trying to piece everything together until a knock on the door interrupted my thoughts. I jumped slightly at the unexpected noise, thankfully no one saw that. "Yes?" I call out hiding my mysteriously bandaged hand beneath the covers. The door opens to reveal a Hinxoe holding a tray. "The purple one asked for your breakfast to be brought to your room." He stated in their normal gravelly voice. "I... um.. alright just uh.. place it there." Once I was done tripping over everything I said I just pointed to the bedside table with my non bandaged hand. 'Oh goddesses please tell me I'm not blushing-' I felt so embarrassed by tripping over myself like that! Thankfully the Hinxoe didn't question it and did as he was asked before leaving and closing the door behind him. Once the door was closed once more I sighed and slumped in on myself. I rubbed my injured hand against my temple frustrated at myself. 'That was an absolute mess! Thank Hylia Vaati isn't here to see that. He'd punish me for it in a heartbeat.' I looked up and saw the slightest bit of light peeking through the curtains. Which I scooted away from nervously before clutching the collar of my tunic. Once I made sure that cursed light can't reach me I focused on other things. 'Vio had a hinxoe send breakfast here.... Why? Does he know something?' My heart started pounding with the idea that he found out. Oh the consequences of even one person finding out were astronomical! I stared at the tray while my head and heart raced. 'Why can't I remember what happened!'

Vio's pov:

The glass of the window was surprisingly cold against my forehead. It's quite shocking considering we're in a volcano. I was trying to use the view to distract my thoughts but they refused to be ignored. Constantly going back to what happened last night. Unanswered questions banged against my mind and conscience. 'Why did Shadow cut himself in the first place? How long has he been doing that? Also what's with the thing I felt along Shadow's back?' I wanted to bang my head against something. Or even better rush over to Shadow's room and demand answers from him. 'No no.. don't act rashly like that. I asked the Hinxoe to tell me when he brought Shadow's food to him if he was up. Shadow may still be sleeping.' As if the very thought of the Hinxoe summoned him, he came lumbering in the room. He turned to look at and simply said that he delivered Shadow's food to him and he was up. I nodded and thanked him for telling me. I slid off the window sill and wandered to find something to do for at least ten minutes. That should be enough to for Shadow to eat and recollect himself from last night.
