"Please Iris. I need a new dress and I can't go shopping by myself." I held the phone to my ear and pulled my hair around to the side. "I'll drive and pay for lunch?"

"I'm really busy." Iris huffed.

"With what?"

"Can't say. Have you asked Daisy? I don't think she's up to much today."

"Fine. I'll see you tonight." I hung up the phone and text daisy.

Hey what you doing today? Fancy shopping?

Hey! Oh sure! I just need to finish getting sorted, come over we can go from here.

My saviour. I'd been stood looking at my closet for hours this morning and I could not choose a dress I liked for tonight. If I was playing hard to get with him I needed to make it believable. I really needed the full look to be out of the bag tonight. Like nothing he'd seen before. He had to beg for me.

 I walked down the stairs slowly in the black heeled ankle boots. They were pretty new but I rarely wore them. They were cute though.

"What's your plan today then?"

"Shopping with Daisy. I need a new dress."

"Don't you have like a thousand dresses?"

"None of them are right." I smiled at Roman as he stood at the bottom of the stairs. I had told him about Jaxson last night. He just shook his head slowly like I was getting myself in a sticky situation.

"It best be appropriate."

"Oh whatever Roman. Jaxson will literally be there. You know he wouldn't let anyone touch me. He's more protective than you are. " I rolled my eyes and pulled the door open. I winked at him as I walked out and got into my car, pulling off quickly before he could stop me.

~~~
"So what exactly are we looking for?" Daisy looped her arm through mine as we walked into the bank. I needed some cash and this would be the easiest way to get it out.
"I'll know when I see it but it needs to not be far from something I'd usually wear but it needs to be in your face. I want him on his knees for me if I'm giving him the date he wants so badly." We stood in line with everyone else patiently waiting out turn.
The room was unnervingly quiet.
"I don't like how quiet it is." Daisy whispered so not to draw attention.
"Me neither. Somethings either happening or about to. You remember how to handle this right?"
"Stay down and out of the way and cover my eyes." She smiled sweetly and I nodded. I pushed on my phone in my pocket, letting the speed dial run to Roman. Just as we expected, a group of masked men walked in straight after. Some of the people in the line must have also been in on the job because they raised guns and shot the ceiling.
I literally just wanted a new dress. Why do I always walk into these messes. The men all shouted get down on the floor and I laughed.
"Do you want to die bitch?"
"Fucking try me I dare you." I raised my eyebrows and Daisy slowly moved away from me on the floor doing as she had been taught. The man slowly walked towards me trying to intimidate me. This coat was brand new and it was going to get trashed I knew it.
"You're a pretty one aren't you?" He used the barrel of the gun to move my hair out of his face but I didn't flinch, staring into his eyes.
"Runs in the family." I smirked.
"Oh you're cocky. I love a girl with an attitude." I glanced around the room. 6 of them. Eh. I could take that easy. Wouldn't guarantee I wouldn't get hurt but as long as they didn't touch my face I didn't care. I slowly put my hair behind my back and threw my bag to the floor.
"Oh I have a bit more than an attitude." I pulled my arms from my coat. I didn't need it weighing me down. "You know the people in here only came to cash money in. They don't need some wanna be gangsters fucking their day up. Me especially. I've got a dress to buy."
"Oh princess I can buy you a dress."
"Oh. I am WAY out of your price tag. Now put the gun down before someone gets hurt." He still had the gun pointed at my head and I gently pushed it down.
"I'll do what I want princess. I don't know who you think you are." I laughed. throwing my head back.
"You really have no idea?" He raised his eyebrows and I shrugged "Let me show you."
I pulled his gun from his hand so quickly he couldn't respond shooting 2 of his gun men from across the room. I smiled at him as he tried to punch me and I ducked.
"Oh come on at least make it difficult." I kicked him to the ground and connected my foot with his jaw, breaking it in 2 as he laid there in agonising pain. I looked up at the other 3 men in the room and held the gun down.
"Do you 3 want the same or are you going to behave and sit down? Because my brother will be here any second and you won't want to be alive if he knows you shot at me." They threw their guns to the floor deciding it wasn't worth it. I bent down to the man on the floor and grabbed his chin. Squeezing it and watching the tears fall.
"I'm a Brunelli. I can promise you, the pain you're in right now is nothing compared to what my brother is going to do to you when he gets here." I stood up as the doors swung open and Roman stormed in.
"About time!" I smirked at him and he shook his head. I nodded down at the guy on the floor and Roman smiled.
"Hey, broken jaw, nice one." I nodded as Roman pulled him to his feet.
"Go easy on those three back there. They were going to shoot me but I told them not to bother." I nodded to the three at the back of the room that Sonny and the others were dragging out of the bank. I had no idea where they'd be going and I knew the only reason they had to deal with Roman now was because I just happened to be here. Wrong place wrong time I guess.
The other customers started to stand up as Roman left the bank. I pushed passed the crowd to the teller and asked for the money I had been wanting in the first place.
"Sorry about the mess." I looked down to the blood on the floor as Daisy handed my my coat. "I tried to keep it as minimal as possible for you but it will still probably take some good scrubbing." The lady smiled nervously and handed me the cash.
"Come on then I still really need a new dress." Daisy handed my my purse as we walked out. I heard the police sirens coming down the street. I hope they decide it's not worth the hassle with our family.
