"We're out of wine." Iris giggled as we sat on the patio around the pool. I could feel the breeze cool on my back but the alcohol was too strong in my blood for me to feel it.

"I'll go. I think I'm the most sober out of all of us except Daisy." She stood up and wobbled causing me to nearly fall over laughing. We had demanded earlier in the day that Sonny went and stocked up on alcohol whilst we got ready. "Do we want something stronger?"

"SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS." Lexie screamed and I gave her a thumbs up before turning around, wrapping my arm through Daisy's in a hope of keeping us all stood up.

"WAIT." I stopped. "Why don't we go into the ball room? It'll be warmer and we can DANCE."

"YES." They all stood up and I watched as Sofia stumbled and grabbed Lexie before she fell into the pool. We all stopped laughing whilst they got away from the pool and slowly stumbled into the house through the dining room doors.

The boys were sat around the table playing some card game I wasn't going to pretend to care about. I locked eyes with Jaxson and smiled. Earlier today seemed meaningless right now. I was happy. I walked us through to the bar area and grabbed a few different bottles.

"What are you doing?" Sonny walked over, leaning over the bar.

"Getting drinks and going to the ballroom."

"Why?"

"Because they keep nearly falling in the pool and I think the ballroom is safer if they trip in their heels." He nodded in understanding.

"And the dresses?"

"Because if we're going to be stuck here for the foreseeable future then we're going to make it as fun as possible. And also they're fun to wear."

"Okay." He shook his head. "Need a hand with those?" I nodded and handed him the bottles whilst I carried the shot glasses down to the ballroom.  I was starting to get tipsy I must admit. I intended on getting wasted tonight. I'd regret  it tomorrow but I didn't care.

I walked into the room where Daisy was trying to connect my phone to the speakers around the room. Sonny shook his head and put the bottles down on a table before walking over to sort it for her. He took her phone from her hand and did it seamlessly when the music started playing she squealed with joy and he smiled whilst rolling his eyes. I was starting to get the feeling Sonny was Bi because he definitely had a soft spot for Daisy.

"Right. Enjoy. Don't start throwing up, I'm not cleaning it up." He said to me as he walked out.

"Aww. You're no fun." I pouted and crossed my arms. He closed the doors behind him and I poured out some shots for us all. The girls quickly gathered around and we raised the tiny glasses.

"To being alive!" I shouted in a toast and they all shouted it back as we downed them. We all slammed the glasses down before we started spinning around the room together, living out our ball dreams.

These dresses were perfect for spinning and twirling around. The piles of tulle made us feel like little girls playing princesses again. Exactly what we needed after this week. I don't think I'd laughed this hard with the girls in at least 18 months. And I'm pretty sure that was at a party whilst Jaxson was away and there was no one staring us down.

I picked up the whiskey bottle and realised I didn't bring any glasses in.

"I'll be right back. I didn't get a glass for my whiskey." I pulled the door open, leaving the girls sat on the floor laughing with tears coming down their faces. One of them had pulled the rest over and now they just decided sitting on the floor was the best thing. I agreed. I'd join them in a minute with a filled glass.

I slowly walked into the kitchen, making sure to go the long way round so I didn't disturb the boys with their quiet game. I could hear the girls laughing from here and smiled knowing they were having fun here. I didn't feel as bad. I pulled the cupboard open and grabbed a glass, placing it on the counter before closing the cupboard. I'm glad I put it down because I jumped out of my skin when I closed the cabinet door and Jaxson was stood there.

"JESUS fucking Christ Jaxson." I put my hand over my heart calming myself down. He laughed at me and pushed his hands in his pockets. I looked over him quickly, noticing the unbuttoned shirt and slacks he had been wearing on our date this morning. He'd dressed so nicely and I'd turned up in jeans and a turtle neck with a hangover. Great impression Lennox.

"Sorry." He smiled sweetly.  "Nice dress."

"Isn't it. I bought it for a party I never got to throw."

"Oh?" I nodded "Why not?" I picked up the glass and started walking away.

"Because the boy never proposed so there was no need for an engagement party." I smiled and spun, letting the dress speak for itself with the drama. I turned into the corridor and walked slowly. I could feel he had followed and was watching me walk away. As I reached the doors I turned my head and raised the glass to him.

I walked in the door and poured myself half a glass before sitting beside Lexie and Daisy.

"What are we talking about?"

"Jacob." Daisy rolled her eyes.

"Again?" I looked over at Sofia "STILL?"

"I'm sorry. I just miss him." I rolled my eyes.

"You say that every single time and then in 3 weeks you'll call us crying saying he cheated on you. Again." I took a sip from the glass and put it down behind us whilst Lexie passed the vodka bottle around the group, everyone but me drinking from it. I was happy with the whiskey. I was already starting to feel drunk, especially now I was sat.

"He swears he's changed."

"BULLSHIT." Lexie shouted and passed Sofia the bottle. "I say we take a vote. All for Sof getting back with Jacob say Aye." She looked around and shrugged. "The nays have it."

"Wait."

"No there's other guys out there Sof."

"You can't talk Len. You're crawling back to Jaxson."

"I am not crawling back." I brought the glass to my lips stared straight into her eyes "He's crawling to me though." I smirked and took a sip. He was it wasn't a lie. That's what he was aiming for earlier when he backed me against the wall. He got the answer he was looking for, that I was back to being his. The girls laughed. They knew I was making him work for it and that's what was making it so hard for me. Because I wanted to but I didn't feel like he had worked for it enough yet.

"Fine. We can let her off, she's making him work for it. Jacob however. No."

"What about Sonny?" Lexie asked Sofia "Or Jesse or Carlos."

"You're barking at the wrong tree with Sonny. He told me he has a boyfriend." I put the glass down after another sip and leaned back on my elbows. I watched Daisy's face drop. "And a definitely not to Carlos. He's a prick. He's not touching any of my girls." I frowned trying to not get angry about last night again.

"So Jesse? What's his deal Len?" Lexie asked but was watching Iris sip from the vodka bottle. I shrugged.

"Not really spoken to him. He seems nice enough but I haven't been alone with him. You guys have spent more time him than I have." They all exchanged glances at each other and shrugged. That was definitely going to be their mission over the next few days. Poor Jesse wouldn't know what hit him.

I could see the girls getting drunker and drunker whilst I finished my one drink they had finished half a bottle of neat vodka between the 4 of them. They would be passing out soon.  I stood up to get myself another drink and struggled to place my feet. A small drink. I giggled at myself as I poured the drink and sipped it slowly.

"Oh this is such a good song." I started singing along to Ride by Honey Revenge. The girls sung along and it quickly turned into karaoke. Now we were very drunk.
